  1. Oh. Sorry. I thought you meant this year and the next 2 My mistake. I STILL think giving up 2 first round picks for a WR in this draft is too much
  2. Agree with some of this but This is an interesting draft I see the Colts trading back 5-6 spots to 20-25 and getting additional picks in round 2 or 3 all of these guy run 4.4 40 or better……just what we need Brian Thomas X Worthy Leggette A Mitchell Troy Franklin
  3. Respectfully I would disagree a bit…maybe alot Nabors is amazing but what You are really giving up is 3 first round picks to get him…. That would be way WAY WAY too much What we need is a separation speedy wr to open up the run game and stop getting the 8 man box defense that we always see There are 4 or 5 that fit this criteria that we wouldn’t have to trade up for and might be available in round 2
  4. In my book Pierce is a keeper But...... It would be more effective if we had him coming off the bench to replace and rotate with a starter, and can give a breather to Pittman when needed
  5. He GETS a pass for this PAST year but not after NEXT year IMHO. If we miss playoffs
  6. I truly hope that Ballard makes some aggressive FA move(s) this offseason WHILE we have QB and LT on rookie contracts If we aren’t in playoffs next year….. I think you HAVE to make a change at GM
  7. 25% Agree on OL, WR 100% agree on LB, CB 1000% agree on DE, FS
  8. I think we have 1 in defense.... Buckner But..... he ALWAYS gets the double team. We need at least one more on the line
  9. I agree with the need for DE, CB, and FS (With the number of TE prospects on the roster I think we HAVE our future TE) There are so many WRs in this draft, I dont believe that we need to give up draft capitol.
  10. For me, you would start with priorities (My list) I believe with 2 of the 3 most expensive contracts currently on rookie deals....... THIS is the year to spend In the future, after we give contracts to QB and LT, the $$$ will not be available Priority 1 Pass Rush improvement Priority 2 Explosive WR Priority 3 Play making free safety Priority 4 SSLB Priority 5 CB First off, I would absolutely resign Pittman. In the offseason, I would open the checkbook for a FA DL Can you imagine for a second, if we could replace Grover with Chris Jones, Christian Wilkins, or Madubkie? We would have crazy pressure up the middle! Or....... I would hope that we go after Burns or Hunter at DE At this early stage, I truly dont think we need to trade up in the first to get an additional, needed WR Odunze MIGHT slide to us ( but probably not) This WR class would seem to be extremely deep, which usually means that teams may hold off to draft a WR in rounds 1-3 Other WRs that MIGHT grow to be that "separation WR" that this team could use that could slide to round 2 Egbuka Leggette X Worthy Mitchell Franklin Brian Thomas If anything..... I could see us taking BPA and then trading up .... IN ROUND TWO Some may say, give Pierce another year. Which might be valid, but in a passing league having multiple burners to stretch the defense would seem prudent. This would be opposite Pittman..... who we need to sign Here is a draft that I did this morning
  11. If you think about it, this defense needs pressure from the front 4 to be successful. We have improved our overall sacks, but when the game is on the line, we have been chewed up by pin point passers. I hate seeing our DEs getting handled one on one. I hope that they resign almost all of our FAs and add A top DE in FA CB in draft FS in draft SSLB in draft I may be in a minority here, but THIS defense CAN work, with the right players
  12. Thanks for adding I like round 1, 2 in the draft as we need a CB on the other side and someone who could play RG until Kelly retires Higgins seems like a WR like Pittman , big and strong, contested catch monster.... He ran a mid 4.55 at his combine I personally believe that this team needs a speedy defense stretching WR ..... someone that would keep these defenses from playing 8 man boxes constantly. lastly Spotrac says that Higgens will get 22.5M. I think we HAVE to get that WR and DE for this team to move to the next level But...... What do I know?
  13. Odunze would be a great pickup He may get picked before us
  14. Dejean would be a great pickup. He is a big fast kid that can tackle like a LB and has the speed to matchup. He can also be used in several roles , FS, SS, CB
  15. I dont disagree, but we werent going to win a SB this year, with or without AR5 He did get some meaningful snaps in preseason, and I am sure that he is picking things up this year. The coaching staff has a feel for what works for him, and we should see some improvement next year I saw enough from this team, that if we make some prudent moves in the offseason, we CAN compete as one of the top teams in the AFC. This team is lacking that DE that frightens the other team, the FS that is roaming the field taking interceptions and knocking down passes, the WR that can take the top off the defense. We lastly need another LB that can make plays. We can probably get 3 of the 4 in this upcoming draft
  16. What a glass half empty weenie….who would predict such a pathetic win total????
  17. Who knows Rome Odunze would be a great pick up, if we didnt have a promising slot WR,, I would like Emeka. Cedrick Gray would seem to be a perfect fir for the Colts at SSLB Maason Smith had a really poor year. Not sure if he was injured
  18. I hope they go after a top safety in the draft
  19. I said max 4 My crystal ball is cracked
  20. Another 2 Weeks, another simulated Mock I traded back twice with trades offered by the simulator Newton is a great DT/DE "pressure machine " that will be tough to block As with Illinois, he will play on early downs at LDE, then shift inside on passing downs Immediate Starter Devontez Walker is that Separation WR that we need to compete with Pierce and rotate in with Pittman Immediate Starter Edgerrin Cooper - SSLB Playmaker that can defend the run and the pass Immediate Starter Cole Bishop - Playmaking FS that this team needs on the back end Possible immediate starter Josh Newton - Very good CB that can compete for the CB role and bring needed depth Sataoa Laumea - Depth at DT - Grover Stewart, future replacement
  21. I would love if we play the Bills ..... Cold game, but one that I will go to. (Its a stadium on my bucket list) I've been 22 away stadiums, seeing the Colts on my bucket list Unless we can start to rush the passer a bit better, we will be one and done
  22. Our pass rush needs to step it up in this game........ Stroud has improved since we played last.
  23. A win is good but sheeze No pass rush when needed…..
