Defensive line,. _ Mediocre...Ok vs. the run but little pass rush pressure
LBs - Pretty good.. vs. the run..coverage was medicore
Secondary - tough day....safety gambled and gave up big gain early gave up 66% passing

WR screen scored...and shouldn't have.. To be fair..the lack of pressure hurt.
Our defensive line may be a problem all season.
We get 5 sacks and 1 or 2 FF and you say our pass rush wasn't even there? 5 sacks! When was the last time we had 5 sacks? It doesn't happen often. And Bethea took a gamble, yes, he missed, but if he hadn't missed, he was in for a pick 6, because he was going full speed and would have blown by anyone at the line. I liked the fact he took a gamble.

Ya but 7 sacks given up it 2 games is horrible.
I think giving up 4 sacks to Oakland was bad last week. I think they fixed things this week and it is getting better. This is a lot of new linemen in a new system, give it time. You can't fix everything in one or two games.

For those that think Brad is calling it like it is, I feel sorry for you. For those of us that know there are better reporters for the Colts and listen to them, props to you.
Saying Brad Wells knows anything about football, is like saying men know what it is like giving birth. Neither make sense.

Terrible call. 3 more sacks given up too and now Donald Thomas gone for the year that stinks.
Giving up 3 sacks to the Dolphins is actually pretty good, with how good that team is at rushing the passer.

What did he say that was so bad? At any rate, I liked Paul Kuharsky at ESPN more than Wells. Didn't always agree with the guy, but enjoyed most of his articles.
I like Paul also! Nick Ragsdale is good and you can't go wrong with Phillip Wilson. But I do agree, even though Skip is an *, he at least does a better job covering the Colts, who he hates all Indiana teams, better than Brad Wells.

Braveheart guy on the forums came out once and claimed to be Brad and most of us still believe it is him, even though he now backed off his statement and claims he isn't. I guess you are either stupid to ever claim to be him or once you realized people would know who you are on the forums, you couldn't hide behind a computer screen, which Brad does. He is pretty much a coward and will NOT support his articles.
One of my
hobbiesinerests (I don't have hobbies; hobbies cost money. Interests are quite free.) is to give Brad Wells grief on twitter. I don't even attempt to read his work, I just argue over the title of the article. Let's be honest Brad doesn't know anything about the Colts or football, so I'm just giving him a taste of his own ignorance.I had done the same, but then he started crying to me on twitter why I followed him and questioned him. He then blocked me, because he couldn't take someone questioning his work, yet isn't that the only thing he does to the Colts? If you want real football news and good decision on the Colts, good or bad, Phillip Wilson is the man to listen to. He does 1000%+ better at reporting the Colts, than Brad Wells will ever.
I love that Mathis took it to him. My guess, Brad is in a corner, sucking his thumb crying.

I think it has been said enough, first, check the source. You do realize, Brad is on the forums and most likely crying because he gets very upset when people question what he writes. Heck, he removed me from his twitter feed because I made him cry one day.
I disagree about Mathis not being near Weeden. He was the person that almost got Weeden twice when we put them on the 4 yard line. He had the QB on the run. Even if he didn't get the sack/safety, he made him throw the ball away. Will Mathis be a force? I am not sure, Freeney did help him be productive, so if our other pass rushers can step up and not allow teams to just double and triple him, I think Mathis will still produce.
I just want to say.....EVEN THOUGH IT IS PRESEASON! LOOK AT ALL THOSE TURNOVERS!

There is a reason that running QB's don't last long in the NFL. And that ones that stay mostly in the pocket have longer careers. Yep, you guess it, injuries. It isn't that the read option doesn't work, but your QB WILL take big hits, from guys twice their size. And they will take injuries.

The writers in Indy are little league.
Personally Phillip Wilson is my favorite on writing about the Colts and other stuff for Indiana. He does a great job.

Please tell me that you don't believe everything you read or see online. It reminds me of this French model TV commercial. That's like saying you are tight with something & then you say you know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy that actually saw Brad Wells a few tables across a crowded room. Did that person speak directly with him? Are you sure it's him? Well no, but I waved at him & he waved back.
I'm not saying that you're wrong Zachris, but heresy doesn't qualify as factual confirmation in my eyes. I need more evidence than that.
Well, I guess I can report him to the mods for claiming to be someone he isn't. I know they frown upon that type of thing. Trust me, I don't believe everything I read or see online. It is full of stupid people that make up some of the stupid stuff in our world today, you see forward and reposted on Facebook daily. But to come here, and say you are someone, and not actually be that person. Well, I guess if he chooses to lie and claim to be someone he isn't. I guess he is just a fraud. Brad Wells does not have the balls to tell people who he is on here. Why? Because he knows people will make fun of him even more.
The point here is, if BHC is not Brad Wells, he should have NEVER made a comment to suggest that he was. That is his fault. It isn't my fault. BHC should be banned from the forums if this is actually true, because you should not come here, representing to be someone you are not. If you can't be yourself, then what are you? Your a nothing.
For all I know, Southwest1, you could be another one of his famous writers on his page, just trying to defend him. Or heck, you could be Brad Wells also. Trust me, I had a friend one day admit to me, that on the Pacer forums, he had multiple accounts. Each one had a different kind of personality. He would even go as far as having arguements with himself to start problems on that forums. Pretty sad and pathetic if you ask me.

If anything, you just added to BHC's mystery & intrigue & you just singlehandedly made his following & mystique skyrocket on here. BHC will become a legend on Colts Forum now like Elvis, Beatle mania, & an international criminal that stole millions & never got arrested by the authorities. Ha! Ha!

Actually, the use of the word "you" is actually 2nd person not 3rd person Zachris. "You guys are merciless." I like BHC myself. The guy is wicked smart & funny as Hades IMO. Besides, 3rd person humor, which involves the use of a person's name, like SW1 said this is hilarious in my estimation.
I am fairly sure BHC is Brad Wells, which is why I made my comment about third person. It was referring to his comment, He's just a guy trying to make a living. So where I see you thought I was wrong, I was actually right in where I was asking why he was talking about himself in third person. And even if I was wrong, I am nor will I ever be a writer because I suck at it!
On a side note, as I brought up the smile faces, I am shocked they have this one?

Is it me, or do we just have a bunch of trolls this year, wanting us to get rid of all of our players, coaches, heck even the owner? Where did these people come from? Why are they here?
