LOL. This is why I follow Brad Wells. The only guy in Colts nation to speak the truth. Everyone just wants to be a blind homer. And Luck is overrated if people are calling him top 5. That doesnt mean he's not good. Im just going to start lurking since my fellow fans can't handle the truth.
He didn't speak the truth, guy had zero football knowledge and there is a reason he is gone.

Don't see any of those trades happening. I think we are good at RB for now. You want to trade, get a lineman or Safety, but with it being so close to cuts, they won't trade anything and see who is available and go with that.

Reported by Rotoworld, NFL expected to change the practice squad from 8 to 10 players. I think this is a positive move.

One sack doesn't win him the game. And sacking Luck, where Luck can escape, really it is against his line most of the time. The W and also the Division title are what matters. Mario Williams sacked Manning all the time, but did nothing to help them win the games.

Personally, it is time to just cut him. He is wasting a roster spot, that could be filled by someone that wants to play and not get in trouble. We have plenty of other people that can fill his shoes. He lost his chance here. I am sure there are other teams that will sign him after his year suspension.

I'm fairly sure Brad Wells reads these here forums and loves the reaction he stirs up. A journalist's job used to be to sell papers, these days it's to get clicks, end result is the same as long as your writing articles that provoke a strong reaction from people it doesn't matter about quality or integrity of an article.
Before he blocked me on twitter, it actually bothers him what Colts fan's think of him. He may claim it doesn't now, because he got blasted for his tweets, but it does. He does read the forums and even posted above. He made a mistake a while back showing which account was his, so now he tries and hides it. It cracks me up!
Dude is a joke. He is our Skip Bayless.

Just because a person has money, doesn't mean a fine doesn't hurt. I think a fine and mandatory rehab makes more sense. Just like in the case with the Saints, if they did suspend him, he can just hand over control of approval to his daughter or someone else. So that wouldn't do anything.

Look at all of Drew's post. This guy doesn't have a clue of where he stands. He has already turned the Colts into the worst team in the league now. This guy just wants to cause problems. Honestly, I highly doubt he is even a Colts fan.
I don't support what Jim did, but it doesn't mean I can support him so that he can hopefully get past this. Just like his players will and the players that will still come to play here.

So the Colts just lost all respect as an organization. Just went from a team that lots of player want to play for to a team no one with any sense would want to play for. How does anyone like this team anymore with an owner with these issues. How do we as fans justify giving our money to an owner with these issues? As someone pointed out how do any players respect him after this. I would not be surprised if Luck, Wayne, Hilton, Davis all wanted out of Indianapolis after this. There is no way we are getting anyone we wanted anymore. I can't even imagine that any rookies we draft could want to come here. It's a really sad day to be a Colts fan and I feel really sorry for him. I'm just thankful he didn't hurt anyone. Is there any type of precedent to this at all?

Sherman is a great CB and might be the best right now. But he really needs to learn respect and giving respect to other players. The Colts had his number that day. It happens. I am sure next time, he studies harder! But look at his rant with D Hall yesterday. The guy has NO respect for any player. He refuses to give anyone credit, except himself. Which in turn, doesn't help anything.

But with Costa coming abroad it just doesn't make a lot of sense to spend a lot of money at one position when we need another receiver and safety.
With Hakeem Nicks as a likely choice to be signed as well, I see the team going Safety in the draft along with a lineman or two.
Costa can play Guard as well. There is no reason that the Costa signing isn't just a depth singing to help our line out, since we always take injuries and I am sure he is better than our linemen we just let go. Just because he had some issues in Dallas, doesn't mean he can be successful here.
Give the guy a chance. His contract isn't that bad and well worth it.

So, the biggest reason I'm against bringing in a big time receiver like Hakeem Nicks is I feel like it might upset T.Y.
T.Y. might feel like management doesnt believe in him enough to let him be THE guy. Even though he has proved it for 2 years now. He might want to be featured more, but management might want to go a different route. That scares me.
I dont want a riff to develop between T.Y. and the team. I want him in Indy for years to come. I dont want another receiver coming in and taking a spot thats rightfully his...
He only helps TY. Teams would have to worry about Wayne, TY and Hicks. None of our other receivers were a threat. So it benefits him. I think we start throwing more next year, due to we saw that is how we can win games.

I personally still see us bringing at least 2 if not 3 more people. Maybe nothing high profile, but we are not done in FA. We still have some needs that can be filled by proven players in FA. Drafting is always nice, but most of those players rarely make an impact to first year.

Personally, I don't see this as an issue. I expect us to score on every drive. Why would we need to punt?
