  1. He can be a stud! He came back for that Philly game and was tearing them up! They had no answer for him. If he hadn't gotten hurt again, we would have won that game and honestly, if he was healthy for the season, we would not have lost to the Jets.

I hope he stays healthy, I really believe he was running a lot of routes Clark did, so I see Clark taking those hits this year, which we know he can take.

  2. I do know John Clayton from ESPN was on one of the local radio shows on 1070 the fan Monday or Tuesday and he said the same figure. This was before we got Sims and Harris though. Can't imagine those guys were overly expensive though. I blew it off, didn't believe him, but appears maybe he was right.

Those guys are probably 2 to 4 million towards the cap, if that? But I agree, I haven't seen the figures either. So even if we save a few million for the season, I see we have some room. Maybe they are waiting for cuts today to see who becomes available?

  3. You forgot Tamme and Addai in that list! Addai will play a bigger role, but Tamme is a nice target and proved himself last year.

Yes, Powers is our number one and actually plays at a Pro-bowl level. I love him! We have a hole at number 2 that either Tryon or the other guy needs to fill, not Lacey. Lacey is a good nickle CB.

  4. No, if him dropping weight fast been a factor, Vikings would not have dropped him. He is also a HUGE issue in the locker room and doesn't care about staying in shape. Waste of money if you ask me.

  5. I'm just glad to see manning is pushing the issue to get this done and to ADD HELP. That is the key to this article get out there and grab us some players b/c Irsay said he would get Peyton help let's see it then. Also, lets be honest Diem is terrible he is mister false start. I think it's time to cut ties put charlie in his spot and put our 1st and second round pick on the left side of that line. What do you think?

I need to look this up, but I have been told a couple times that Saturday has defended Diem on his false starts, saying if he didn't do the false starts, those players would have gotten through and hit Manning. Granted, maybe he isn't the greatest, but if that is the case, I am ok with it.

  6. I'm really hoping Hayden plays to his potential and stays healthy this year. If he can, we actually have pretty good corners with him, Powers, and Tryon.

Personally, I would like to see Powers on the other team's number 1 and Hayden on their number two guy, whether that be a TE or WR I don't see that being an issue. I think if he was covering the lessor of the top talent on the other teams, I think you will see a great player.

In terms of FA's not being signed, I just saw a few players that fell to other teams, ones that could have helped us. Brad Smith comes to mind. Look at what that player could have given us, KR/PR, WR, RB, QB. He was pretty cheap and the Bills took him and they didn't even really need him. And he could have offered a lot to our team.

I know people keep yelling for def or off, but lets face it people! We need a couple players that can make our special teams better!!!!!

  7. Have we even signed any of our drafted players from this year? I know there are mixed feelings towards FA's, ours and the ones available, but have we even signed any of them yet? I have seen a lot of other teams signing these players left and right and with the rookie pay thing, I think it has made this a lot easier.

Just curious if I have missed some signings?

  8. http://rotoworld.com/player/nfl/2636/albert-haynesworth

I would have given a 5th round pick to have haynesworth in our defense. Another Randy Moss scenario for the pats. Getting star players that have gas left in the tank for next to nothing. I wish the Colts would get off their * and make a play for SOMETHING good this offseason. All of our rival teams are getting better and we're sitting on our hands.

I am sure the Colts didn't want the drama from this player. The difference between the Pats and Colts, the Colts won't take players with issues, where the Pats don't care.

I don't see him turning into a Moss. He didn't even play last year. Guy like that, just sitting and whining isn't going to be in that great of shape.

I am surprised we have yet to see the Colts do anything with FA's....With the talk they might this year.

  9. Adai is another stutter stepper. We need a staight on runner. Going sideways nets nothing. I know...the off. line but while you are going sideways the def. is headed straight toward you. We drafted off line help so sign Marion Barber now for third and fourth downs. We were 29th in rushing lasy year!!! Time to shed dead weight

My understanding is this is why we drafted Carter. He is a north/south runner and just what we needed.
