  1. At this time....The only bad pickup last year in my opinion was DHB.  But at the time, I was you know....He does have talent, he deserves to try to be on a winning team, you know, not with Oakland.  He had a chance, but didn't do anything with it.  But I would have 100% as a GM, given him a chance.  I would have benched him a lot sooner though also.

None of us know what goes on behind the closed doors, who really knows the system, knows the play book, injuries they hide.  The coaches do.

Chemistry is HUGE and while some people don't understand that you "can't just cut players loose", due to the contract....You would sink us if we had all this dead money people seem to forget about each year.

And as far as Trent goes, I agree 100% at this time, I am willing to give him until 6 to 8 games into next seasons to see where he is.  YOU ARE RIGHT, if he still isn't getting the job done, bad trade!  But if you are WRONG and he is getting the job done, good trade, but I am not willing to just give up yet.

The first few years Reggie was a Colt, I hated him!  Hated how he played, dropped passes, made mistakes, YES THAT REGGIE WAYNE NOW THAT WE LOVE!  I was 100% wrong about him.  And it made me understand, sometimes, you need time to develop!  Only a few players are studs coming into the NFL right off the bat!

  2. I guess if we don't make it to the SB and win every year, we have had a doomed season!  I think a few people need to go become a fan of the Browns for a while!  And after a year or two of that, come back here and I am sure, you will find out that your comments above. are just plain stupid.

  3. I'm past caring. It look all the way like a poor decision, and I totally agree with B40 on all this nonsense about getting a full off season. That is just excuses and balderdash. All I hope is that IF he is 6 games in, and is no better, we cut our losses. If it was me, now, sitting in the GM chair, I'd let Trent go, and bring back Brown. But I'm not.

And who know, Vic may come back healthy, and build on his promising 1st year.

    So many possibilities. It's fun.

I am SOOOOO glad you are not the GM! :)

  4. When considering what I have at RB, besides just Richardson and Brown....Ballard gives me everything I have in Brown in my opinion, and he has played better for me from the beginning.  I won't consider Richardson a wasted pick, until after next season.  If he plays well or goes off, it was a great trade.  If he performs decent and Ballard and him both do well, it is a good trade.  If he pays like he did this year, he was wasted and they should just cut their losses.

  5. For the people that think he wouldn't want to come back to the Colts...I really don't know why you say that.  If you missed the game, where he returned to Indy, he tried not to let the fans get to him, but he couldn't.  He knows what the fan base here feels about him and how much he is loved here.  And I still believe he loves Indy!  I don't think there is as much hatred as people like Skip Bayless and many other media types like to say there is, between Irsay and Manning.  I am not saying it was what Manning wanted, but he knows this is a business and he also knows that he told them not to have Luck and him on the same team.

I would love for him to come back as the OC!  I truly believe he would be great there.  NOBODY is going to make him a HC off the bat, when he has 0 experience.  A GM maybe, but not a HC.  I could see an OC though.

  6. I'm beginning to fear Luck is going to be in the same shoes as Manning in one regard.

This team is not very good and most likely will be just good enough to make the playoffs and promptly lose in first round again.  Just like Manning, Luck will be good enough to mask flaws and make it the playoffs where the team won't be as good as their record and lose.

Then the dreaded can't win the big game comments will start.

Hopefully the Colts can get a good innovative offense mind who can come up with some creative ways to maximize their best players talents.  If not every playoff game like with Peyton everything will depend on Luck.

Yep, that's it...everyone, let's just throw in the towel.  We suck.  We haven't won a game all season, we have no hopes of the playoffs.  Every other team in the league has destroyed each other and have the best players.

Irsay, just leave Indianapolis.  The fans have surrendered!

  7. I can't help but to like that guy.....smart, well-spoken, seemingly genuine, and one heck of a great player. You can talk all you want if you can back it up and he sure can. I hate to like players on the other team but he's pretty legit.

He reminds me of Shannon Sharpe out on the field.  Did you see the time he put Skip Bayless in his place?  Loved it!
