  1. This is NOTHING NEW. Just watched the video on YouTube and he was just saying like its been reported before that the shoulder is not the issue it's the Bicep. He was letting Tiki know why people ask about the shoulder when the shoulder is completely fine. He did not give any new updates.

  2. I'm definetly not ruling out the Giants getting Norwell because Gettleman definetly has ties. My question though is i don't know if Giants can make that work especially long term. The Giants have about 24 million in cap space and need about 10 million for the draft. That leaves them with 14 million. Ya they can get him but that's really all they can get because Norwell being undrafted will not take a pay cut. They also got OBJ coming up on a contract as well.

“But, but, but....You CAN’T stay in New England! We hired all these assistants for you!” :’(

It's funny that assistants reportley being hired, every big network reporters saying McDaniels is going to be the next head coach and yet people are still questioning it or "discussing rumors." Annoying as hell.

I do see Chubb being good but again this is a eval based on him in a 4-3 scheme.  Those OLB 3-4 test will matter more than anything else.  I for one have never cared for a comparison to Bosa.  Bosa stayed in a 4-3 and he did not have to switch up anything.  If we stay in a 3-4 then you are asking him to switch up.

Actually Bosa's rookie season the Chargers were in a 3-4. They went to a 4-3 this year when they hired Gus Bradley. Also Bosa did very well in the 3-4 and Melvin Ingram have almost similiar length and weight to Chubb. Melvin Ingram also ran a 4.8 at the combine and Bosa and Ingram are in top 5 of pass rushers. Just saying, 3-4 you tend to sometimes play your OLB in coverage but hardly ever. You let a pass rusher pass rush. Chubb can play in a 3-4 or 4-3. Lots of people thought Jabaal couldn't and he ended up being pretty solid at it and Chubb is a bigger freak than Sheard.

  5. I'm usually not a guy that supports a RB in the first round especially with the holes we have but every time I watch this guy play you can this kid is special, very special! He can help out this team so much including the D. You think if Frank Gore can average about 4 yards a carry imagine what Barkley can do. He can transform this team into a run first team which takes pressure off Luck. He can block on 3rd downs and can catch out of the backfield. He also would create more action for our receivers and also with being a run first team it would keep the Defense off the field. I love Chubb and think that's a route Ballard will go especially the way the pass rush is.  I'll say this though for people that want to trade back the Colts would not get Chubb or Barkley because the Brown's would snag Barkley for their young Qb and Tampa is desperate for a pass rusher. Another thikng is we all know Ballard is a BPA guy and everyone knows that Barkley is the best player in this draft so I wouldn't completely ruling Barkley out

  6. On the chopping wood podcast. Zack keffer and Stephen Holder reported that people in the building believe that the rehab in Europe was a "Turning Point" and have high optimism that Luck will not need surgery even though it's a wait and see. Also mentioned was that Luck should have been back already but has extended his time there a little bit longer and believe it's due to how the recovery has came along so well he wants a little more time there.

  7. Ya, that is true. It sounds positive though from the Podcast. It bugs me how it's a normal thing after a Labrum tear but it should have been done on the first surgery.  I know people think 2nd surgery and it's bad which ya, you definitely don't want to go in there twice. Well Mort basically says it's not career or season ending and it should of happened on the first surgery. He does mention again that Luck says he feels really great but we will see when he starts throwing

  8. Chris Mortenson is on Dan Dakich and gives more detail with Luck. Mort happens to mention that if he has surgery a 2nd time for the bicep it is normal but should of happened on the the surgery of the Labrum. Must listen!!!!!

  9. A-Rob all day. I dont think Adams will hit the market and if he does i would put him neck and neck with Robinson. I dont know why people keep saying Landry. The guy is really good but he plays mostly in the slot which would take away from T.Y. because thats where T.Y. is most effective. We need a guy that is big and can use his body to take over. I'd say Ballard thinks the same since he brought in Kamar and tried to get Alshon. I'd be really shocked if if he went for Landry.

Here's some stats from PFF on Chubb:

-no.9 in the country in pass-rush efficiency!

-no.1 in the country in run-stop efficiency!

I don't know if you guys realize how insane this combination is. He's elite at both, at least production-wise. This is why I want to see his athletic testing. Chubb is extremely impressive on tape from what I've watched.

@Defjamz26 I think you've been underestimating him as a prospect. I still agree with you he's not Myles Garrett level prospect, but you have to consider Garrett might be one of the most perfect prospects at EDGE to come out recently. I still want to see his testing and if it matches or exceeds my expectations he is definitely worth a top 5 pick, especially for a team that severely lacks pass-rushing.

I agree with you man. Everyone wants to say he's no Myles Garret or Von Miller but the thing is those types don't come out every year. I know people are wanting Nelson because we need O-line help which is true but Pass Rushers don't come cheap and if they tend to hit free agency your paying a premium price to beat out others. My thing is it's been proven you can find a really good guard in the later rounds like 2nd or 3rd. Ya I know the Colts haven't had previous success at drafting O-line but that was with Grigson. We got Ballard and Ed Dodds.
