Good Lord this guy has off the field issues and injury concerns. I wouldn't pick him in the first round. Florida linebacker better choice
Mayock has reported that teams aren't concerned with the injury. Ya he has had red flags no doubt but look at the Chiefs, they have taken players that had red flags and so far so good. I'm not lobbying for the guy but many think he is top 5 hands down. At fifteen that would be a steal or it could be talk hoping a team will trade up for him. All I know is if he had problem with drugs it would show up in the past. There are no reports that he has failed previous tests during school. I guess Thursday we will know for sure what will happen.

Am I to understand that a "Parachute Pick" means we're ending his fall? I have never heard that before.
Yes, he wouldn't get past the Colts

Todd Mcshay has heard Rueben Foster would be a "parachute pick" or the Colts. Posted link on other Buzz about the draft

So, using his example, Denver is at 20. That pick is worth 850, ours is 1050. The 200 point difference is worth a little more than Denvers 3rd.
Yeah, depending who's on the board, I could live with that.
I could too. Matt Miller said that from a source that the Colts really like Harris. If they can trade back a few spots and still pick up a 3rd it's a win. It would be sick to have a solid 1st round pick and have a 2nd (2) 3rds (3) 4ths and a 5th.

Not sure if this has been posted yet and it's not coming as a shock but Dan Graziano reports that 49ers and Colts are looking to trade down.

I know Ballard said he will take BPA available but he has stresses so much on front seven. I don't see peppers happening. Kiper needs to get off the Peppers train

His weight loss scares me a tad bit. I know he hasn't been able to work out but I think he needs to put a little more weight/muscle.

Thought the piece on Tak's life was great. I'm not sure if most people know the kids background but very insightful. Imo when you hear the things that he's faced and overcomed this seems like a Ballard guy. Just thought I'd share the article.

I thought the interview was very interesting as well. I also thought maybe he's hiding his cards on Mixon. He was asked about what his thoughts on Mixon and replied he's doesn't know and hasn't dug to much into it. Not word for word on the quote but my reaction is that it's almost a few weeks on the draft and you don't know. Either he's hiding that he's not worth drafting or maybe there's more that he doesn't want to disclose. Either way would of been nice to know what he thought.

The guys Ranking is hilarious. Has Romo in Tier 2 and when's the last time he played lol. Andrew gets a lot of flack because he's the #1 pick and was the best rated prospect since Elway. The fact is Andrew hasn't had a well built team around him like most quarterbacks. You put most quarterbacks in the shoes he has been in and most qb's would fail. Andrew was rated the 3rd best qb by PFF and was getting a pounding in the beginning of the year. He was also ranked one of the highest qb's with the best statistics when pressured as well. Not saying he's the best Qb but in my mind a top 5 Qb. Haters going to hate.

Depending on how significant the injury is, if it's nothing serious like nerve damage and he falls to to the 3rd or 4th because he might miss the whole year I say do it. Mayock said he's the best DB in this class and reminds him of Marcus Peter

Overpaid for the guy smh

free agency just started
I know that. I've seen all kinds of people on here hoping that these top free agents will be signed and I just don't get how people still think it can be done. Yes it is possible but I think Ballard will sign a couple low key free agents especially the way the defense is right now. Ballard made it clear he wants to build through the draft and raise their own. He even said he's not setting unrealistic goals that can't be achieved. Signs that don't expect a whole lot right away. I understand that the fans want rosters holes to be filled asap but it takes time. I'm a realistic colts fan and know it may take a couple years to get done. Ballard is credited as an excellent evaluator and I trust he will nail the future drafts.
-
I think people need to understand that the Colts were never going to be big spenders. Ballard stated he wants to grow within. I know it may take a couple years but he stated that he's not setting high expectations. The great teams build within and I believe he will try and do the same.

Looks good on paper but will see how it plays out. Bortles looked like crap. Their O-line is pretty bad and how will a 30 year Campbell look in a new scheme. AJ bouye could be really nice but will have to see. Without a strong Qb and o-line the team isn't worth a damn

Rapoport just reported Doyle got a 3 year deal with indy.

I had a feeling the Colts were going to lose the coin flip. Oh well

I pray the Colts make a serious run after him if he doesn't get signed

Yep, which could be reached. It's a low chance trying to work out all those contract details as well as what to pay him in such a little amount of time. They may be working at it, but I don't think they agree on something in time.
So much for him not being signed and tagged lol. I guess Rapoport doesn't know how to do his job smh

You obviously didn't read the article, they haven't signed Berry and have less than 48 hours to do so. If they don't, they have to tag him, and let Poe hit FA. The odds of them signing Berry to a long term deal suddenly in less than 48 hours is very low. Until it happens, I believe it won't get done.
Make sure you watch the video so you can understand fully lol

Did you even look at the time of the article. 8:45 a.m. Things have changed. Rappaport said the Chiefs are planning on making him the highest paid safety.

Smh. I pray Poe or Brandon Williams hit the open market

I agree 100%. I see people saying no because of his background but many players have had issues before the draft. As long as due diligence is done I trust Ballard. Yes there are players that had problems that didn't succeed but their players like the Honeybadger, Von Miller, Shane Ray, Janoris Jankins, Justin Houston, Tyreke Hill, Marcus Peters, Vontae Burfict, Dak Prescott, Jameis Winston. I trust Mayock more than anyone and he does not see anything that should affect Foster's stock. Look at his confrence call and he explains. Plain and simple this dude has elite traits and if he was picked I wouldn't be concerned
