  1. Anthony was back..Reitz too....HMMMM! Poor run blocking leads to poor pass blocking.....it is cancerous!

Pagano is testing the special teams again....P Mc...is kicking it straight down the middle.....Makes or breaks this roster cut and the next.

    35 Lefeged...blown up twice...roster cut?

AC had his block, but Reitz went to help out. Satele lost his man and went in alone. Bad decision by Reitz to help on the

outside. Have to hold the pocket in that case. Their not playing well.

  2. This should be a fun one to watch. Just about EVERY football fan will be tuning into this one!

I want to see who will be makng an impact on special teams. Like LOS said, first cuts on Monday.

A lot of players playing for a spot.

Also, our second string has not really missed a beat in the previous two games. Will be interesting

to see if that will continue.

    :blueshoe: GO COLTS! :blueshoe:

  3. I think it will definitely be brought up pre game and maybe post game too. But during the game, not sure.

I'm more interested to see if we don't play someone. Not much has been mentioned about us giving up someone (other than D-Free), just the pick we're giving up. If we don't play someone it could be a hint as to whom we're talking with.

  4. And if they are looking at a WR like Wallace, keep in mind Wayne isn't getting any younger either.....

Is there a possibility of getting a good (not great) WR in the second round next year? We get Wallace this year but we're gutting our 2013 draft. We need a corner next year if we don't get one with this trade.

  5. yeah i figured that because they drafted tannehill. the only two vet players i can think of is wes welker and nnmadi.

No way Grigson would give a 2nd rounder for Welker, IMO. Would need to be a 3rd team involved for him to be a part of it. We don't need him.

  6. If we do indeed get a stud corner out of this, how many more wins do you think we get this year? I originally thought we had 5 wins in us. We add a legit #1corner and i think we get another 4 wins.

Of course it also depends on what players we have to give up (if we do), but if it's just a high pick, cash, with no starter, what do you think?

  7. It wouldn't surprise me if all this rumor and speculation just dies out today and nothing else comes of it. There is just something weird about all this IMO. Nobody seems to know anything concrete. I don't know, I hope something happens or at least they just come out say "hey, we tried doing this or that, but it fell through, so were moving forward".

Considering he let us know that we can all go to sleep last night in his last tweet, i think he knows we're all hanging on for the final result. I think he'll let us know either way.

  8. i know this is not popular but i would like a RG or RT....if not cb

I can't see us giving up a high draft choice for the right side. We're serviceable right now, in my opinion. We could definitely use some depth there, but not for a high pick. I still think it's a corner.

    Suspence is weakening...will...to...work..

  9. No Irsay twitted he was going to sleep.

Agreed. Didn't sound like it fell through, they just got tired and will pick it up today. A new day with a clearer head to discuss details. I just hope we get an update before noon. This is driving me nuts!!

  10. If we win that game, O god the bandwagon will be at full compacity. I can see it now, every announcer will be saying the colts are winning the superbowl this year.

...and we will still be looking to find our way onto the national TV schedule. *sigh*

  11. Two-headed running attack is the way to go. Brown/Ballard are a nice combo. Ballard runs a bit bigger than Dom, and Brown is similar to Joe. Luck will keep the defense honest like Peyton did.

The real difference is the beef up front. The holes are bigger and our backs are running north and south instead of the stretch.

Play-action is going to be a major weapon this year. It's going to be fun to see this young team grow with this coaching staff.

I also noticed we pounded it on third and short but also threw the quick pass to Reggie to convert another short on 3rd down The play selection is wide open, we aren't predictable anymore.

  12. A LOT to build off from this game. The two INT's were costly, though. I think we beat outselves in this one. We gave it away. Have to do a better job of protecting the pig.

Agree, though - intertaining to the very last play.
