  1. Not that i want to see it happen, but if he came back for one game and we won that game (and that is our only win), i could see him getting legit votes.

There is no doubt in my mind that he is MVP (to his respective team), but Rogers is the MVP of the league this year.

  2. i think the one thing Polian didn't figure into his decision was the psychie of the players. He created a huge distraction - internally, not even by the media - by pulling the starters. I don't think they were the same, mentally, after that game.

And for those who say we should rest our starters inmeaningless games, does that mean the starters shouldn't play inthe finla 2/3 games of the season if we have it all wrapped up? talk about "rust"!

I will always remember that season for the Hank Baskett botch and for not trying to acheive perfection. What athlete strives for not being the best?? incredibly bad decision by Polian!

  3. Have lived on NJ all my life. My brother liked The Packers a lot and i figured it was time for me to pick my own favorite team. I heard the Colts were a huge favorite to beat Joe Namath and the Jets so the Colts became my favorite team.

Okay, so that one didn't turn out too well...

Only been to one game at the RCA Dome, have yet to get to LOS. I may get there next year, though.

  4. Polian has sated in one ofhis shows that the corners aren't doing a good job of recognizing down and yardage to go so they are playing too far off the receiver. He stated (if i remember correctly) that this was something that would get fixed.

I'm just. not seeing/hearing of it happening. I'm left to wonder if they are capable of close man coverage??

  5. Me too.

Today was quit ok. I hope he will keep his good performance.

We'll see next games... 2 or 3 more games, and it will turn out who is better, Orlovsky or Painter.

If I'm not mistaken, he looked better than Painter in pre-season. i still don't know how Painter won the backup job.

  6. I don't get it. Everyone is saying this team is so bad and is the same team as last year's.

I think people forget that we lost 2 of our top 3 draft prospects to injury this year - and Nevis has very

    high potential to be an anchor for our defense. Yes, injuries are part of the game, but think about it;

we get top draft picks in each round next year (did we trade any draft picks in the upcoming draft??)

and we get back last year's picks. We're much better than last year.

If Peyton is healthy he has a better running game and (hopefully) a better O-line to play with. Why would

i want to trade him if he's healthy?

Luck hasn't taken a snap in the NFL I say we win now with Peyton if he's healthy. Keep Luck in case he

goes down or doesn't fully recover. I doubt Luck's trade value goes down halfway through the season.

    My .02

  7. After two weeks of preparation, I am glad to see Jim Caldwell and Clyde Christenson came up with a gameplan to play to Curtis Painters strengths.....standing on the sidelines watching the Colts defense.

At this point i think we should see how he does at clipboard holding again.

    GO COLTS!

    -d.
