  1. What would I like to see happen in the New England game (keeping in mind this is hypothetical and has 0% chance of occurring)?

McAfee starts at QB, audibling more than Peyton ever has and goes 24/28 for 416 yards, 5 TDs and 0 INTs to give him a perfect passer rating. Our RB duo consists of Moala and Reitz, both of whom get 150+ yards and 2 TDs. Vinatieri did a little extra work in the weight room this week and blasts a 70 yard field goal...three times. Our top receiver is Saturday who has 8 receptions for 116 yards and 2 TDs.

Belichick feels so bad after the loss, that he resigns as coach of the Pats. Meanwhile, Caldwell wishes to end his coaching career on a high note and retires from the NFL. Belichick seizes the opportunity and comes to Indy as the new head coach.

Okay, so maybe .01% chance of it happening.

Maybe Caldwell just decides to pack it in regardless.

  2. Not all of the last 7 passes he's missed.

Plus, just because it sort of gets there doesn't mean it's a drop. He needs to check those blitzes into slants and drag routes, but he's not. He's sticking with routes that require ridiculous pass placement; which, of course, he is not capable of.

    But yes, Collie got held.

So you're saying that slowfoot (Collins) would actually get it away before the blitz obliterated him with the ball still in his hand??

    What's your point?

    GO COLTS.

  3. I wouldn't go as far as to say that. If you put Painter in at least he knows the playbook and has some rapport with the receiver, things would be so much better.

Unfortunately, i think this is Collin's game to lose.

Can you imagine if they put Painter in and he does no better and the D gives up a TD?

Everyone will want to kill Painter saying we were ahead until Painter came in.

Let Collins lose this one. Start Pinter next game with a clean slate.

    Go COLTS!

    -dave.
