Compared to the past, the AFC is pretty weak at the moment. There aren't many teams to play. The South might the best division in the AFC, and we're 7-5.

Yeah, I could have a "get off my lawn" moment with that. You now have many people who are more interested fantasy football, the draft and advanced metrics than they are watching the actual games. The actual games themselves often seem immaterial.

I just realized that, like in 2021, we get the Raiders at home in the next-to-last game. Following the 2021 Raiders game, crap went off the rails for a year and a half.

This is weird, considering people were talking about Manning getting in player's faces. I found Saturday's one reception and pass attempt from 2004. It came right after the memorable Reggie/Peyton head bump. I vaguely remember this. One second left, down three at midfield to Jax. Hail Mary? No, illegal pass to Saturday. Saturday then attempted to pass it forward. Jax declined the penalties, so Saturday got a target and pass attempt.

In addition to what Pierce did catch, he was also open for the TD in the endzone and Minshew overthrew him. Minshew again missed him down the sideline for another potential TD when he was wide, wide open. Dude was open all day.

He had one target in 2004. Saturday also threw a pass in 2004. Lol

It's pretty hard to get the blocked punts they got and lose, and they almost accomplished it. Add an INT at midfield you decided to hand right back.
