  1. I have never seen it either. I just found it but it is a good one to use when you dislike something
  2. We don't have the tiebreaker over the Marlins or Reds. We need to finish 1 game better than both to get in. No matter what happens, the Cubs have brought us excitement again. 2021 and 2022 were a disaster. We are in this thing with 10 games to go. All you can ask for. As of now, ESPN is showing we have a 45% chance to make the playoffs. Not bad odds.
  3. I just throw things out there for suggestion, really for fun trying to play GM. Every scenario I posted probably won't happen, but it is still fun to speculate.
  4. You are right on my tail. I am 21-11 overall. Looks like you had a good week (2) as well. Good picking
  5. Cubs with a dud tonight! Reds and Marlins both lost as well. 10 games to go for the Cubs and here is how it looks, the race for the final playoff spot: Cubs 79-73 Marlins 79-74 (.5) Reds 79-75 (1) At least we won last night to end that losing streak, the other 2 teams keep losing as well. It is good we have less losses than both. I know the Marlins have the tiebreaker over us, not sure about the Reds? We need the Marlins to keep losing. I really don't care how we get in, as long as we do. At that point everyone is 0-0 and we are 1 of 6 teams. The regular season is long and drawn out. It is a grind and it looks like our Pitchers are gassed. We are still hanging on somehow to a playoff spot. We will see how it finishes out.
  6. Tomorrow is the key day, if AR doesn't practice tomorrow, than the likely hood he won't play goes way up. Not practicing today really doesn't tell me much.
  7. I am almost starting to think after the injuries to Barkley, Dobbins, and perhaps a career ender to Chubb, Taylor may go for a contract where most of it is guaranteed. Something like 3 years for 33 million which is just 11 Mill a year but give him 25 million guaranteed. If he gets 25 million that should give him a piece of mind in case he gets injured. I have no idea how he feels but the guy does love football and he has to be thinking how great he and AR would be together. If I was a RB, I would love to play with AR. That running game would be unstoppable.
  8. Yeah I think Herbert goes 0-3 this week. I can see Kirk passing for a lot of yards on that defense. Chargers may fire their coach if they lose this one. You have a talent like Herbert and start 0-3, something smells in the room.
  9. Yeah, please join. This is all in fun anyway. Who knows you may win some weeks.
  10. I know you don't copy my picks. You are too competitive for that. Even if you agreed with me on every pick, I still wouldn't think you copied me. That poster actually just copied my post, that is what was funny. No big deal but I have never had that happened before
  11. AR was clearly the best out of the 3 this week. His 2 TD runs set the tone early and he made some good passes to keep drives alive. The game was pretty much over at halftime. Unfortunately he had to leave the game. Stroud threw for a lot of yards but he threw 47 times and his yards were meaningless in the 4th because they were so far behind. We also went prevent in the 4th Qtr. He also had a key fumble early in the game that led to a score for us. Young just flat out look awful and I thought he would be the best out of the 3. AR, most importantly got a win, the other 2 are 0-2.
  12. Maybe I am that great, joking but I got a kick out of it. Watch me go 8-8 this week now
  13. Cubs blow the Pirates out. Great to get the Arizona stink off of us. Reds lost as well. We are currently in the final playoff spot still. 1 game ahead of the Reds and a half game ahead of the Marlins. Fly the Flag @HOZER, huge win tonight.
  14. I agree, that is why the payout is unreal if the Bears win. I will more than likely stick to my 2 $50 bets, just not sure yet with the games I am going with. Bears winning would be a miracle but just a fun thought going through my head.
  15. That is a hell of a stat. The payout would not be huge if I take the points but if I took the Titans straight up, I would make a little more. I am $200 to the good so far this season. Imagine if I just took that $200 and took the Bears straight up to beat the Chiefs - If I won, that would net me $1,060. If I lost, I would be even for the year.
  16. Yeah I was actually going to post the Marlins lost too but the article states that
  17. I think it will be high scoring, something like 33-30.
  18. I seen your post on the other thread regarding making big money taking the Bears. Yeah if I put $100 on the Bears I could win $530 but I would have to take the Bears straight up with no points in order to get that payout.
  19. Yeah I love Notre Dame's offense and both teams are pretty evenly matched. In college football, HFA is huge when you have 2 top 10 teams playing each other. Notre Dame wins by 3.
  20. Here are my picks for Week 3: Giants 13 49'ers 30 Titans 20 Browns 23 Falcons 23 Lions 27 Saints 17 Packers 27 Broncos 20 Dolphins 30 Chargers 26 Vikings 30 Patriots 19 Jets 17 Bills 27 Commanders 24 Texans 17 Jags 27 Colts 19 Ravens 27 Panthers 16 Seahawks 30 Bears 17 Chiefs 40 Cowboys 35 Cards 6 Steelers 23 Raiders 20 in OT Eagles 24 Bucs 20 Rams 20 Bengals 24 - this could change if Burrow doesn't play. I will note it before gametime. Week 1 = 9-7 Week 2 = 12-4 21-11 overall
  21. I can't stand the Steelers but picked them to win tonight. That is what Mike Tomlin does. He knew going 0-2 is a hole they didn't want. Sad about Chubb, he is out for the year.
