  1. Yeah Chris Brockman is probably throwing a fit right now.
  2. No way Steelers are score 14 points lol. I’m mad for already going 0-1 this weekend, but a Steelers loss means we have a better shot at the playoffs now.
  3. The season will be a loss if we lose to them now. Trubisky is just… awful.
  4. Pats scored a TD that means they’ve already won the game hahaha
  5. Hoping for a tie. I’m going back and forth on the pick ‘em tonight. Pats defense is playing at an elite level. I can’t see the Steelers doing much. The key difference will be who capitalizes on turnovers?
  6. His footwork kills me, and I'm glad this video exists to showcase it. A lot of his issues are because of the base. He makes unnecessary movements all over the place, even into check down throws. That said, he's the backup for a reason and he's doing enough to win games. I do think we'll eventually get caught (probably by the Texans) and really bad Minshew will appear.

  8. I really think the rookie QBs of this year's class have done a decent job all things considered. And in a few years they're going to be quite experienced veterans.
  9. It's true. And you guys are right, the veterans with experience have a much better chance to win a team games in a pinch. Eason was deer in the headlights. But why then, do teams keep drafting QBs beyond the first round?
  10. And I'm not talking about developing these QBs to be Tom Bradys and Purdys. I'm meaning eventually the well runs dry once all of those veteran QBs get too old. There will always be a need to pick up QBs and develop them. Who am I kidding, I'm probably way off and wrong on this. Forget I said anything.
  11. For me it depends on the situation. We need an established vet because of our young QB who has limited experience. But once we get an established starting QB, then we can transition into developing backups. In an ideal world, we'd have Richardson starting for years to come, while developing QBs behind him as he gets older. We can then either trade those QBs for capital, or keep them in case they have to come in and play.
  12. I’m okay with us flying under the radar a bit this season. If Richardson grows into the QB we all hope he does, we’ll have plenty of prime time games for years to come.
  13. Did you get the feeling he was catching himself a few times? Like he wanted to divulge a bit more and then pulled back? I’m not a big Bradley fan as most know, but it’s more about his scheme that he and Ballard put together. But I do know he’s a very good teacher and the players think highly of him. I keep seeing so many ex coaches and players who still support the Colts even after their time is over. I really think it means something that Coach Pagano and now Coach Saturday (he’s earned the title) continue to follow the team.
  14. Really interesting to hear him talk about teams moving away from teaching techniques and focusing more on scheme.
  15. Always a fan of his breakdowns and showing some love to the hard working linemen.
  16. He saw Raimann in the same way that Howard Mudd saw in Saturday.
  17. I mean they’ll definitely have leverage on asking those schools to pay up with all the money flowing. Between selection committees, NILs and more I’d say the NCAAs integrity is permanently damaged. They might as well just make the Big 10 and SEC minor leagues for the NFL.
  18. I wonder what my Ball State Cardinals and other MAC schools will do, as well as all of the other non super conferences. I guess down the road they’ll have to decide if they even want to be in division I. Hell maybe those 100 schools will tell the NCAA to screw off and they’ll just start a new association.
  19. It seems like a trend, but short QBs are still the minority. Of all the rostered QBs in the NFL, only 3 are below 6’. There are 37 QBs between 6’2” and 6’4”. There 9 who are over 6’5”. I don’t agree with this. If it weren’t for those off-the-street journeymen a lot of teams including ours would be playing boring football. And there’s been plenty and I mean plenty of examples throughout history of backups coming in to win games and seasons. The Dolphins undefeated season did it. Our own Colts when in Baltimore did it. Even Brady was a backup at one point. So no, there’s never been a big disparity between starter and backup, because the league has always had a need for talented throwers.
  20. He would have too many deer in headlights moments. He also seemed way too reluctant in correcting mistakes. Reminds me of a classroom where the teacher has lost control and the kids are doing whatever they want.
  21. Pat on his show has repeatedly talked about how bad Reich let things get by 2022. Players late or completely missing meetings, taking bets, bad practices… The culture was poisoned. No way around it.
  22. I love it when they play against each other. Either way I’m happy lol
