Good friend of mine, long time vike fan, made the trip from NC to the game! Congrats and happy for him!
Wow, I would have loved that. My cousin's wife works for Twin Cities Orthopedics. She put in her name for tickets just for me. She did not win but I would have gone if I got tickets. (I live in NY)

Lol you aren't sleeping tonight either. Awesome win
I have not had dinner because I was so nervous. I probably won't eat tonight.

@NFLfan I told you we had it!
Thanks, I am getting text messages from everyone. I am shocked. We were all so upset on the Vikings site, saying Same old Vikes.
Can't believe this!

Wow! I am speechless!

Hugs @NFLfan. I know you're a nervous wreck
Thanks, I sure am. There is too much time on the clock.
Or maybe not enough for a comeback. Anyway...

It is tough even for me to watch Colts games in the Playoffs and chat. I have to look away from the TV at times when it's close. Glad you here. Vikings now back up 20-14.
We need to score at least another FG

Don’t forget Favre in the year the Saints beat us in the Super Bowl. Vikes just have bad luck vs the NFC South...
True. And 2 years ago against the Seahawks. Walsh missed a 27 yard FG which would have won us the game. That was crushing.

I’m not mad at you. I can’t have casual conversations when my team is in the middle of a playoff game. Too superstitious. 1 wrong word can derail a season let alone a game or even a drive...
That reply was for @2006Coltsbestever who is one of my closest buddies on here. I hope I don't sound upset. I am not. Just nervous.

Cam Jordan is a beast. Looks like the Saints are making a comeback. That missed FG is going to haunt the Vikings.
He is the son of Steve Jordan, a long time Vikings tight end. He played for about 13 years with the Vikes. I dont think he played for another team.

Yeah I spoke too soon, what was Keenum doing there.
I told you that he has done this in other games but the receivers have bailed him out.
Games are never over until they are. Remember the SB last year...
Anyway, I will be back later.

Don't do it again. Look Saints are about to score again. I blame you. Lol.

I just want the Vikes to get through this game. This matchup reminds me so much of the year Gary A missed the kick vs the Falcons. I loved that Vikes team and believe they would have smoked Elway’s Broncos in the Super Bowl...
I hope that it does not end like it did after the 1998 season. This 2017 team does not remind me of that team, as this one has a great defense. The 1998 one had one of the best offenses ever.
Zimmer likes to depend on the defense, but we need to score more points.

Did it end on good terms (don't recall) If so maybe.
If not?
No.
It did not end on bad terms but I think he would have liked to stay.

Congrats on the Final 4 appearance. I love your chances at Philly actually. You have this game in the bag as Drew Brees decided to play like doo doo . I love Minnesota's Defense on such a big stage, I am sold on them now.
Don't jinx me. Lol

Understood. Edge was the exact opposite for us. Wasn’t a thing he couldn’t do on the field. Was just so smooth... Would you still give Peterson an honorary ring? He probably wouldn’t even take it...
I would.

Question gents. How ironic would it be if the Vikings win the Super Bowl the year after they let Peterson go??? I’m personally cheering for them. Would they give him an honorary ring like we did with Edge?
I have been an advocate of replacing Peterson since the early part of the 2015 season. He led the league in rushing in 2015, but that was misleading. He would get one long run for 80 yards but 20 more carries for a total of 35 yards. Our offense was too predictable with him in there. He left us in third and long all the time. He was not great at catching the ball. And worst of all, he fumbled the ball at key times in games. I think Bridgewater's career would have been better without Peterson there.
Peterson was a Hall of Fame player for us and I enjoyed the good times, but I don't miss him at all.

You should probably root for the Steelers. They have the best chance of beating the Pats.
I don't mind the Steelers. But they are not looking good here.

It did not take long for the Jags to score. Going for it on 4th down was the right decision even if the Jags had not scored. But Fournette ran it in for the TD. 7-0 Jags and they are about to go on offense again.
I don't care who wins as long as the beat the Pats next week.

Just messing with you. Good luck today.
Thanks. The wait is maddening but it is only 4 hours more.
Bradford will back up Keenum. Hopefully we don't have to use him.

I like the Under in this one as the Vikings have a Great Defense and the Saints have a Defense that can also contain Case Keenum IMO. Cant bet against Drew Brees in this one as the game is even played in a dome. Saints win 23-20 on a last second FG, sorry NFLfan don't be mad at me.
Yes, I'm so mad at you.

Does Matt Patricia seem like a Giants type coach?
On 1/10/2018 at 3:41 PM, Defjamz26 said:No way. He’s be a perfect fit for the Jets, but the Giants organization and their fan base here is pretty classy.
Yeah, Schefter is reporting that Patricia is expected to be named the Lions head coach. So, the Colts will compete with the Giants for McDaniels.

I agree with Chad. If Case does not turn the ball over and the defense plays like it has been, with by far the best 3rd down conversion rate in over 20 years, the Vikes should win. I am cautiously optimistic.
Skol Vikings!
