  1. They held the 49ers to 17 points. Scoring 38 points on the Browns defense makes me believe that the Colts can score against most opponents.
  2. I read this week that scoring is down throughout the league. The Colts scored a lot of points. That is a good thing to come out of this. I'm sorry it ended in a loss. I was rooting for you all.
  3. It sounds like there were glaring mistakes by the refs. I hate it. I may watch the replay but it sounds like it may upset me.
  4. It is good that I did not watch this game. I hate it when the officiating blunders determine the outcome of games. It seems like the Colts offense was hitting on all cylinders. I was at the Giants game. No bad calls there. Giants won 14-7. Vikings play the 49ers tomorrow.
  5. Ok. Bobby Okereke is loved by Giants fans. I have not seen anything from Parris Campbell.
  6. Thanks. What's the score? Giants just scored their first offensive TD in a while. 7-0.
  7. How's it going? End of the first quarter here at the Giants game.
  8. I think Autocorrect is to blame. Everything else says Colts.
  9. Stapp it. I love Soldier Field. I have not been inside but when I drove past it several times when I visited Chicago, I loved it. I like old-style architecture. I hope to go to a game there before they tear it down. Please put up those coverage maps if you have not already. Thank you!
  10. I'm on my way to the Commanders vs Giants game. The weather is nice. Hopefully the game will be competitive. Enjoy the game.Good luck.
  11. You're probably right. I am a big fan of Surtain..
  12. Your Indianapolis Colts (3-3) return home to face the Cleveland Browns (3-2) who are coming off a surprising win against the previously undefeated 49ers. The Colts need a win to be only one game behind the Jags who won on Thursday against the Saints. The Colts offense will start Gardner Minshew at QB and Taylor and Moss at RB. The offense will have to be prepared for a highly rated Browns defense. Final Injury Report: It looks like Braden Smith and Granson are out for the Colts, and Watson, who missed the last two games, will start at QB for the Browns. What are your thoughts on the game? Are you excited? Any of you attending? Enjoy it. Good luck.
  13. The forum encourages different opinions. Both of you have made your positions known. I think we can move on from this now. It is not that important. Let's talk trades. From the Athletic: Link What about a trade for Patrick Surtain?
  14. What trades are you interested in before the deadline?
  15. Not everyone has to agree. You can defend Colts players as you wish. I think that some fans did not want JT to be re-signed because of what happened during the summer with him and his agent. From the perspective of some fans, JT seemed more concerned about himself than about the team. They wanted him to suffer the consequences of his actions/decisions.
  16. I get it. I would actually do that with the QB position unless I have a guy that can do more with less, like Mahomes or Rodgers. I don't want my team to pay a player $40 Million if the player is one-dimentional.
  17. I read that the Browns signed Deon Jackson to the 53-man roster.
  18. I think someone can hold those sentiments and not be "butthurt". Many people think that teams should not invest long term on running backs. Remember Todd Gurley? That guy was the next great RB. He seemed to have vanished after a few years in the league. I think he was more highly thought of than JT. Imagine having given him JT money. I support giving JT the money but I can understand fans that may not agree with it.
  19. Regarding the Monday Night Game between the 49ers and Vikings, Deebo Samuel is out at least two weeks with a hairline fracture. Trent Williams of the 49ers is also out. McCaffrey is questionable, but it looks like he might play.
  20. Many of the young offensive minds do not seem to value the run game much, but the passing-dominated offense puts pressure on the defense and special teams. Good teams can use the run game and short passing game to get first downs and move the chains. That helps the defense to rest and takes time off the clock. Nowadays, some teams are so enamored with passing that they abandon the run game altogether even when the situation calls for it (when taking time off the clock is most important). These offenses often go three and out, putting the defense back on the field rather than giving them a break. I don't like the power running game or the passing-dominated game. I like a balance of passing and running.
  21. Thanks for replying. I hear you, but what should give fans hope is that AR is very young yet he has shown poise, has played much better than expected, and has a good work ethic. I think he will put in the work to improve. He is only 21!! Unlike other QBs that play that style of football, he is not looking to run first ; he seems to look to pass unless there are designed runs called. I like him a lot. My only concern is that he is getting hurt too much. He will get better.
  22. These ratings all have their flaws and do not make sense at timez. The Athletic has their own rating similar to QBR. They had Richardson rated higher than Minshew before the last game. However, it shows Minshew doing better after the Jacksonville game despite how poorly he played.
  23. Lol. No way. We got a 1st round pick for Stefon Diggs. We would want more for JJ. We are not getting rid of Jefferson.
