  1. Is this normally a reliable source? The Post had comments from Miller and the Broncos after today's practice and they hadn't heard anything from the league yet. Googling his name brings up nothing about this. What the heck is Rotoworld and why would they have it first?

And of course whenever they do get around to suspending him, he still gets to appeal it. We still won't know when he's coming back yet even if this is accurate.

By the way, what the heck is "but he won't be the same" supposed to mean?

Yea, it's on front page NFL.com news as of now. Looks official. Seems like any team Peyton Manning's on cant catch a break. Has to do it all himself.

  2. Last season I waited until the 5th round to pick (wait for it... ) Matt Ryan. He ended up having the best fantasy value for a QB by far. The year after that I waited until round 6th and got Ben Roethlisberger. Not as good of a pick, but nothing to scoff at either.

This season, I will again sit until the 5th-6th round. Unless someone *ically doesn't take a top-tier QB, my hope is to get either Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck, or RGIII. I may also get EJ Manuel in free agency. He looks really good right now. What I love about these QB's is they're undervalued,  can scramble, and have a solid supporting cast who aren't afraid to pass the ball. I'd prefer to lock in Marshawn Lynche early so that if I do take Wilson, I cover my tracks in case Wilson decides not to pass the ball a certain game or if, heaven forbid, he gets injured or has a sophmore slump.

  3. From backing up one Manning to backing up another.  Maybe the Giants are concerned about the future of their team and will use Painter to help them get a high draft pick to get a good QB

What's ironic is Jim Sorgi once did the exact same thing. Went from backing up Peyton, to backing up Eli.

I don't know where to begin with this play, but I want to critique it anyways. Sanchez threw it to rookie Ziggy Ansah, who is a defensive end. I know Ansah was a 1st round pick, but DE's aren't paid to catch, so this INT is inexcusable. He threw it right to Ansah as he was staring him down. I guess those dark blue jerseys didn't stand out enough? The play design looked like a TE screen, but the intended receiver apparently tripped. Sanchez also threw it off his back foot and was staring his intended target the whole way, so not only was it an ugly throw, Sanchez telegraphed it. The other DE, #79 Willie Young, did get into Sanchez's face a bit, but because the pass was thrown to the flats, vision wasn't an issue. Sanchez simply freaked out. Perhaps Sanchez knew taking a hit wasn't worth it in preseason so he chucked it to protect himself, but the issue is it was 1st down, so he didn't need to force a play. This brings up two other issues:

1.) Why didn't Sanchez take a page out of Peyton's Manning book and simply fall down? Throwing the ball isn't the only way to protect the QB.
2.) Sanchez could have ran outside the hashmarks and threw the ball away. He had plenty of field to work with against only a four-man rush.

I guess only Sanchez knows what he was really thinking.

  5. Yea seriously, just run right at him. Instant 5+ yds every time. As for that Spin move of his, its great for pass rushing, but not the smartest idea to ever turn your back on a run play. Especially if that run is spear-headed by Ahmad "The Beast" Bradshaw.

He wasn't wearing a helmet. This marks the second time a member of Hernandez's family has died in an accident. The first, Thaddeus Singleton III, the son-in-law of Hernandez’s uncle, was killed when the car he was driving flew off the road and crashed into a pole. The car Singleton was driving was owned by Hernandez’s uncle.

Now whether this was the same uncle related to the 1st car accident I'm not sure, but it's still a crazy coincidence all these family members are dying in vehicle accidents.

  7. The Jets fans have every right to hate their QB. I could understand criticizing the fans if it was simply a bad QB, but this is Mark Sanchez! This guy will be on the cover of NFL blooper reels for decades. The Jets are paying him tons of money, he poses nude, he makes tons of mistakes, he's entering his 4th season... This isn't your average run of the mill bad QB. Meanwhile, you have a backup 1st round QB in the wings who is less turnover happy licking his chops.

The Jets fans are understandably frustrated. Even Fireman Ed gave up after they lost to New England on Thanksgiving night 19-49. Jets fans are tired of the jokes. They want a team that doesn't make fools of themselves.

  8. getting suspended for stuff like this all the time, similar to Justin Blackmon. Manziel is just a complete *.

Agreed, but at least Blackmon is a WR. Manziel is a QB. There's no way a team will accept a cancer like this guy at QB, not after tragedies like Ryan Leaf. I see similarities in Leaf as I do in Manziel. Neither one can handle the spotlight, both were touted prospects, and both like to party.

  9. One of the YouTube comments said it best...

1-Really? Crying THAT much cause you didn't get a silly little autograph? Pathetic really

2-Do you really think that they could have signed EACH and EVERY fan thing? No It would take a whole week THEN Yall would want more

3-Took off of work? That is your problem you could have been in right mind and said No..theyll be thousands of people there I probably wouldnt be able to get one

4-You act like they are suppose to know who you are or something

5-They go to training camp to TRAIN not Autographs!

Watching this video reminds me of the growing self-entitlement of today's Americans. In our growing age of social media and instant gratification, Americans are becoming dumber and spoiled.

Part of me wishes we were back in the days before cell phones, tablets, and the Internet. When families more often than not ate together at kitchen tables, encouraged face-to-face conversations, and formed coherent sentences instead of l33t speak or "tweets."

  10. does he not notice that this team is 6 billion times better then what we had last year. upgraded o-line, players that actually fit a 3-4 and the most dangerous fact an experienced andrew luck............whoa scary.

Not to mention one of the top prizes in free agency, Ahmad Bradshaw. Now you're putting him behind an experienced Luck?... Defenses will fear us.
