Somehow that's Peyton's fault.
-
Can't wait to hear all off-season how Peyton chokes away the big games.
-
He is... at the beginning he pulled the mic away too soon. Madonna id the same thing only part of it was actually her. Too much jumping around.
I mean think what you want, but he isn't synced.
-
Definitely not lip synced.More lip syncing.
-
DPI is rarely called against Seattle when it should be. It's been like that all season. No flag. Of course.
Seattle got the obvious tripping and PI...why not Denver?
Not that it makes much of a difference.
And great. There's a false start. Masterful, Vasquez. I'd rather put the Vasquez from Aliens at center.
-
The best scoring offense of all time is getting absolutely manhandled. Peyton picked a bad time to have his worst game of the season (or half of the season). It's going to take some effort to get back in this.
Apparently Manning is responsible for the offensive line blocking and his receivers getting open. The whole team is playing terribly.

This Super Bowl sucks

What was Knowshon doing?
-
This was completely predicable. Both will be elected in due time but neither was 1st ballot worthy in my opinion.
It was very nice to see Ray Guy finally get the honor he deserves. I was surprised to see Strahan make it on his first ballot.
Marvin is definitely 1st ballot worthy. It's ridiculous he didn't get in. Dungy on the other hand can wait.
-
Perhaps Harrison is held back by the fact that he played with the greatest QB of all time - you know, the face of the NFL who won four MVPs in Indy. Of course that doesn't fit in with the "nobody likes us" argument.
I think that Marv deserved to get in on the first ballot, but the last I heard WRs weren't getting in at all. The fact that they are starting to is a good thing, but maybe they still don't want to do it on the first ballot.
Harrison will have his day.
Well the main argument is was Chris Carter more deserving than Andre Reed last year?
-
Andre Reed's best year: 1,312 yards, 88 catches, 9 TD. Harrison's WORST year from 1999-2007: 82 catches, 1113 yards, 12 TD.
-
10.7 wins/yr?Not surprising. There is a jam at the receiver.
And as for Dungy, I do not think he is HoF.
-
Reed played 16 years 951 receptions, 13,981 yards, 13.9 ypr, and 87 TD's 378 of those receptions were for first downs.
He also rushed 75 times for 500 yards and 1 TD. 25 of those rushes went for 1st downs.
He also helped lead his team to 4 straight Super Bowls, and was a 7 time Pro Bowler..
Is that deserving enough for you?
Eh. Still borderline for me, but he should never be in before Marvin.
-
This is what's most puzzling to me. I know he's waited for awhile, but Marvin is first ballot all day. One of the best EVER! How did he get snubbed? For the hall of fame. But Reed got in ....
WOW.
Scratching my head.
-
Which "average" yankees player has gotten into the HOF?
Waite Hoyt for one.
-
No surprise although I think Mathis and Sherman were more deserving. Not a bad pick though.
-
Reed has been waiting a long time,
That's too bad. If one is better than the other, the better one should make it. I don't think Reed is really deserving anyway.
-
Deserving for all, but Marvin really should have made it. 2nd best receiver of all time, in my opinion, and best route runner of all time (keep in mind my opinions are very ignorant since I did not get to see greats like Don Hutson play). I'll take him over an on-and-off effort with Moss, a potential locker room cancer in TO, even Cris Carter.
It's not your opinion. It's fact. Stats don't lie. He's getting snubbed because he's quiet and played in Indy. The MLB HOF is just as of a joke. You play for the Yankees and are average, you get in.
Marvin will be in eventually, but not being first ballot is a joke.
-
That's bad. Just look at Marvin's numbers. Easily one of the best of all time.
-
Most of the players have just a great of chance getting injured on the way to the Pro Bowl as they do in the actual game.
-
He hasn't attended since 2004.
Kind of seems like a middle finger to the fans that voted him there.
Is it Belichick telling him not to go?
-
We were manhandled buy NE. Even given that I would rather they run the ball & we STOP it!!
I see what you did there.
-
I always thought the actual game is way overblown and winning the conference was the bigger deal.
I think losing in the Super Bowl probably helps a team more than it hurts them. More motivation is never a bad thing.
-
No, but IMO he's the most valuable punter in the league. His presence is extending AV's career, and that's a good thing for the Colts.
No he isn't. He's average at best. People just like him because of his personality.

This was always a lose-lose for Colts fans.
