  1. Gruden mentioned it, but could Werner really be our JJ Watt... and did the "E" misspell his name as Bjoern because wiki shows it as Bjorn?!? Inquiring minds want to know.

I believe because the English version has no umlaut over the "O" you would add the "e"
  2. Who I want: Xavier Rhodes CB, FSU

(If he's still on the board we must get him. Quick, glue-like coverage. KNOWS HOW TO TACKLE. Sometimes jumps routes which could hurt him in the NFL)

Who I think we'll draft: Xavier Rhodes CB, FSU

Darkhorse: Cordarrelle Patterson WR, Tennessee (Probably will be gone by pick 24. Big receiver, raw route runner, HUGE athletic ability)

  3. Before the combine I was hoping Coradarelle Patterson (sp.) would fall a few spots, but now it looks like they're considering him the best WR available in the draft. Hopefully Grigs has a plan to add some WR depth and hopefully it's a tall one with a good vertical.

  4. Adam Schefter's tweet irked me a little:

Proof of how front offices view rosters differently than fans: Colts used franchise tag on P Pat McAfee, not DE/LB Dwight Freeney.

What fans is he talking about?

Freeney didn't fit anymore and I think most (reasonable) fans would agree.

Edit: I don't understand the constant dig at the fans. The NFL would be NOTHING without loyal fans. Even Schefter might not have a good job without us. Sorry for the rant but I had to get that off my chest.

  5. Here's a breakdown to show how ridiculous that statement is.

AFC vs teams with winning records:

    Broncos: 2-3

    - Loss @ Falcons

    - Loss vs Texans

    - Loss @ Patriots

    - Win @ Bengals

    - Win @ Ravens

So by this knowledge the Colts are better than the Broncos and equal to the Patriots.. The Bengals are the only team with a winning record against NFL teams WITH winning records.

In conclusion, it is obvious the Bengals will win the AFC.

  6. Honestly, I'm not sure where Polian/Irsay want to take this team. I don't know if they want to "rebuild" or try and win a few more with Peyton.

No one in the upper offices is being honest and this is disappointing as a fan. Be honest with your fans. They know what they are planning to do. Odds are they are going to get the #1 pick because at this point, the Colts are WORSE than the Dolphins.

I can't see the Colts trading Peyton, and with the new rookie salary rules, they can probably afford to keep both QB's (Manning and Luck).

I honestly love seeing the high powered offense even with a sub-par defense. It makes Sundays more exciting.

These are all professional football players. Our defense actually has talent. They are VERY injured right now. I think the coaching is lacking.

I KNOW Jim Irsay knows what he is doing as far as building a good football team. As far as Bill Polian: I tend to question his decisions.

In the end it is a business. Fans fund the team. Fans want a winning football team. I'm not an expert, but I think drafting (and keeping) Luck would be the best decision.
