I was hard to watch a great QB play obviously effected by the injuries. He looked like a shell. Very sad.

I hope Trent is humbled by this situation, comes to came next year at about 215 and a step more explosive, and does what Mark Clayton has done with the Ingram. It would be one thing if Trent were a Johnny Football annoying type. But everything I have heard and read about him, he works his butt off and tries to do whatever they ask him to do. He has tremendous physical talent. I doubt they cut him next year. I just think he needs to become a different type of back. Faster and more decisive.

I think our "luck" goes back to far. Right after Unitas left to SD, we got Bert Jones. I think Colt fans often overlook him, but he was a great QB when he was healthy. He l leaves and we drafted Elway. I know that didn't work out. But then Manning and then Luck. So for a good part of our history, we have had a very good QB.

In watch Werner, here is my theory. He was a good rush end at FS because he would get in a 4 point stance or 3 point and was usually the first guy off the ball. So he didn't really have moves, he just got the first step. Ok, so standing him up takes away his advantage on the first step, which makes him a pretty ordinary pass rusher. He needs to learn more pass rushing moves.

Are some of your forgetting the first Bengals game?? You make it sound like the Bengals stonewalled our running game the first time and then Boom Herron lifted us to great heights yesterday. Fact is, Richardson tore them up in the first game too. Not to take anything away from Boom, but maybe we just match up well against Bengals to run?? I just think some of you make too much out of beating up teams we match up well. How did Boom do against Dallas?

Jeff George hasn't played in a long time but probably still has the strongest arm ;)

Dungy had to give props to his boy RGIII. It goes unsaid...
-
He's coming around. It has to be hard to eat crow about Luck and his boy RGIII.

Holmes is the man. I think we have the right center playing now.
-
He was sick. He'll be back next year a bit slimmer, faster, and will have his best year.

Denver reminds me of our 2006 team. Manning was a bit off and the running attack and defense carried us in the playoffs. So I don't think they are any pushover. I am VERY happy to see Baltimore go to NE because for whatever reason they always play the Patriots tough. If they beat NE that wil make my day

Agree. But they'll go with experience over talent.
President just needs more experience.
These days, just being a community organizer can get you a long ways ;)

Not sure that being a fan of a team required mindless optimism on our part. Right now, the Colts do have chaos on the OLine, haven't been running good, and have turned the ball over. I think all of us fans still think on any given Sunday we can beat anyone if we play a good game. But it would be stupid just to mindlessly think we can beat everyone and never see what our weaknesses are. That is not a fan. That is just being stupid.

The Pro Bowl is a joke that they won't pull the plug on. I am happy for the guys to be voted in, but by the time the game finally comes around, the #8 player at a position makes the Pro Bowl because the guys ahead of him either aren't available or don't want to play. I love football but I honestly wish they would get rid of it. Making the All Pro team is the way to go.

Castonzo, Mewhort, Holmes, Thornton, Cherilus

Am I missed something??? Haven't people been screaming for Harrison to be benched the last few weeks? So now Holmes is in and people are complaining he is playing.
I like Holmes. He has quick feet and a quick mind. He could be a good center if he can stay healthy now. Perfect time to be healthy heading into playoffs.
-
Congrats! But honestly, who gives a cr*p about the Pro Bowl. It is a farce in that they will have the 8th best player playing the game after everyone else was unavailable.
-
I like if by the first playoff game we have Castonzo, Mewhort, Holmes, Thornton, and Cherilus as the Oline, we won't be great but we can move the ball. I think that is our best combination.

I thought the one positive from this week is I didn't have to hear about TRich sucking again.
-
All in all it was, just some text in a wall.
Brilliant!

I disagree. I think the problem is talent. Lets take the Cotls defense. Vontae Davis is the only player on defense you could probably say is one of the better players at his position in the NFL. Offensively, maybe Luck and Hilton? Tell me another good team in the NFL that has so few impact players? We just aren't very good talent wise. But then again, when you change out 48 players in 3 years, that happens.
-
Its hard when you have some many uneducated football fans commenting on what should be changed when they really don't know what is going on from a football standpoint. It is far more indepth then just getting good players on the O-line. And the TRich stuff gets old.

Unitas, Mackey, Bert Jones, Harbaugh, Faulk, Manning, E James, Freeney, Mathis, Brackett, Saturday, Clark, Harrison, Wayne Luck, Hilton, and customized.

Wow. Really impressive by OLine. And Joe Reitz was just a force at right tackle. He is strong and has great feet.
