I think everyone is missing the point here. IMO Tom got off easy Iam sure that anytime after the AFCG when allegations was brought forth against the Patriot organization for unapproved footballs air pressure. Tom could of at anytime brought forth any type of evidence that would of made this whole thing go away and then get on with the SB. But he lied to the media the NFL and the fans in order for himself to be able to compete in the SB, The team won the SB, Tom gets MVP he should of been suspended for 8 games

Correct he had his chance, But remember he could not come clean after the AFCG because that would of proven his guilt and would of suspended him for the Super Bowl, So please how can anyone not say the Super Bowl was tarnished for the Patriots

And another thing if was such a big deal to the patriots organization why did they not ask for their own independent investigation and pay for it themselves to see if any wrong doing was going on.

Just got done watching inside the NFL they had 2 former Patriot players on discussing this issue, Why are they putting this on the colts organization for balls being underdeflated at halftime when did the colts became under investigation for rules violation and also talking about the AFCG as if it was going to change the outcome by saying if the patriots played the colts 10 times they would of beat them 8 out of the 10. Bashing the NFL for hiring Wells to do a independent investagation and they of hired a outside source to investagate. Am I wrong here if everyone would of come clean in the first place when asked about we would not be talking about this today and going on with the rookie camp. Asking again was their reports stating the patriots were tampering with footballs during the jets and the bears games and did the wells report not state some texts went back as far as may of 2014. Then answer me why in the world would does inside the NFL have 2 jacka cant say that talking as if the colts organization was wrong in asking the NFL for a even playing field

As the tread states the players are going into their third year this will be a make or break season for all of them to see if they fit the colts system on offense and defense, IMO they all need massive improvements over last year and if it is true Bjoern has not been to any off season activities unless he is training somewhere else then this is a disapointment

I guess in some people's minds because of the hate ... but I think the Hawks having multiple guys suspended for PEDs and running illegal practices was worse but that is just me ... lots of gamesmanship and in the end this is a game day operations violation that is supposed to be a $25k fine ...

What you are talking about makes sense it is bad when players from any team use PED and they should be suspended, But when you have a spokesman for the NFL
into which millions of kids look up too and then to go on National TV and lie about your involvement in this matter. No one is hating on Brady just disappointed.

IMO the colts need to put in a shot at getting this guy for one he should be able to shore up the right side of the line from day 1. Two he could be a possible replacement for the RT spot. But like everyone is posting everything is speculation until the young man decides.

Does anyone know when he will be cleared or how long before he is to be cleared. It has almost been a week how long does this process normally take for a person to be interviewed. Have not heard the whole story except that he was wanted for questioning did not hear he was a person of interest in this death

Correct me if i am wrong but are the colts NT and DE besides jones going into their 2nd and 3rd year still pretty young and raw. Sounds like they are still learning but showed good signs last year I mean the colts was ranked #11 in the NFL in 2014, This will be the year to tell if you have a good DE or NT IMO. I would go OL if a good player is available and or a RB. IMO their will be some good D-line players left in the 3rd

You are right at least for a first round pick I did not see anyone who can come in on defense and make a difference from day 1, I believe the colts will get a good 2nd round and 3rd round pick

Well after reading all the posts, I had to laugh a little about the passion everyone has for the first round. Kind of surprised with the pick myself but after reading the many comments on the WR corp, I thought we had a lot of talent at that position but after reading some of the posts maybe we do not . So I guess this was a wise choice for the colts it will put another weapon for Andrew to throw at and IMO after watching some film dorsett should have no problem adapting quickly. The colts still have some picks left to address other areas of concern

I understand the need for a RB but I think we can wait a couple of rounds for a RB their are plenty to choose from later in the draft. IMO need a DT or a DE to bolster the D-line. Or it is possible we can scratch the possibility of not able to stop the run this season

If I am correct Chuck turned down a 1 year contract so if he were to take this team to SB he can get a major contract. Also if I am correct was it half of this forum during last season screaming for a coaching change because of the play calling and getting blown out. I believe this is a good move either by Chuck or the team, I love winning just like the next person but the ultimate goal is to get to the SB if it is by coaching or on the field. So it is up to the team to man up this year and get to the SB.

Jim Irsay does not like and never will "problematic" football players. Doesn't want to deal with them. Suh has one ... on the field unsportsman like conductivity. I don't blame him for feeling that way at all by the way. I wouldn't sign players like that, either, if I owned a professional sports team.

The D Line is pretty strong in this years draft, I think we'll pick up one or even two additional players in the early rounds.

Cap space and all of it's "scary" scenarios to some is just that. If the Colts want to target a player they'll get him. Regardless what the team does in order to make that happen. It's done all the time in the NFL. Now, "wildcat players" as I like to call them (Suh, et.al.) will
never entertain the Colts organization as long as Jim Irsay owns this team. Attitude, money, work-ethics, and "system" have to all fall into play before this organization makes a move. It's just that way. Sometimes you do get "busts". However, that's life in the NFL.

Get it straight they did not ask for his phone they asked tom and toms lawyer for print out of toms text messages with the two involved in the tampering of the football, Not once did they ask for his phone.
