Plus he’s just turning 21, so young with so much room to grow. Most QBs coming into the league are older with at least a full year more experience. The ceiling is so high. Coaches gotta coach!

I’d be fine too with going to Porter at CB, but then I’d be hoping for a trade up to also get a starting RG in either Torrence or Avila.

Feel free to do so. I can’t remember all the picks I had strong opinions on, but I do also remember the following: I do know that last year I wanted the Colts to take Sky Moore, but they went Pierce instead. Don’t know how that comparison will turn out. In 2020 I could not understand how Jonathon Taylor was not rated as the number one RB in the draft. When Colts got him in the 2nd round I was thrilled! I wanted them to take Quenton Nelson and after a brilliant trade, they did. In 2016 I wanted Ryan Kelly. They chose him. In 2015 I wanted them to draft Landon Collins, but they went Phillip Dorsett. in 2011 I wanted to take Derek Sherrod, but they went Castonzo. Sherrod was wrecked by injury, so given that, obviously Castonzo was the better pick.

I was COMPLETELY in favour of drafting Ryan Kelly and over all it’s proven to be a very good, needed pick, despite Kelly’s drop in performance the last couple of years.

I wanted the Colts to take Darrisaw, but instead they drafted Kwity Paye. I thought OT was a much bigger need, so I felt Darrisaw would have been a better team building selection. I also thought DK Metcalf would’ve been a better selection than Parris Campbell, though, so what do I know. lol

I predict Matt Gay will lead the 2023 Colts in scoring. ;)

Booooo. This is a game that got away. Missed FG, brutal drop by Campbell that potentially cost 4 points, way too many OL penalties, missed Face mask penalty, defense blunder in taking the bad defensive PI late. But yet, if only they had made that missed FG, they win. Ugh. But at least the team was in there fighting, winning 3 of 4 quarters. Team looks much better to me with Saturday at the helm, as compared to Reich.

Better yet, stop them!

Too many penalties. That drop by Campbell potentially cost the Colts 4pts. Offense has to now show up. They’ve been mostly M-I-A since the game’s first drive.

Today so far, I am seeing the Colts team much closer to what I expected to see all year, though the offence is still underperforming.

If the Bills 24 -7 lead holds vs the Titans, after 2 weeks colts are tied for 2nd in the division, only one point back.

So they’re just giving up and trying to run the clock out now? Nice run to Hines.
