If they keep it up....this Bears D could be very tough.

It's a young team and mistakes will happen.....they're going to give up some plays but they're also going to make some plays....that's exactly what we saw today. I really think there's a lot of potential but it's going to take time.

Here's the thing I'm ok with about not getting Mack.....the Colts aren't a player short of being a contender....they're still most likely a year or 2 off of being a consistent long term contender (unless the youngsters develope quicker than expected)....right player but wrong time.

even though the contract isn't guaranteed, the players do get paid a small stipend during camp and pre-season that I'm aware of.

he definitely showed why was drafted that high.
but, being a rookie facing his first test against other NFL lineman, he had a couple hickups...which was expected and will only get better at dealing with over time.
Even with a "solid" game by what may have been expected is still VASTLY superior to what the Colts have had in the past.
