First, Suh is not a role model but I also don't see him as a dirty player. Not a wahmbulance call
Sorry but on what planet and in what context to you laugh and dance over an injured player? Nope, not in football.
Laughing and dancing? You can see it in almost any game after a good, hard, LEGAL hit--and the officials in the NFL say they are. The kick to Schaub, yes he kicked him but not aiming for a specific area. Look at the position of his head and helmet, there is no clear line of sight and the NFL seems to agree when they fined him but waffled and didn't call it intentional. I'm not going to disagree with the professionals. There have always been a few "hard hitters' sprinkled throughout the league, Hines Ward and James Harrison come to mind, but as long as the league doesn't take action then I don't see the reason to slander intense players.

Wins make coaches more forgiving and Smith won a LOT but Harbaugh didn't give him any respect, why?
I think it was a mistake to bench Smith....but then again I was in the "keep Manning" crowd and I was really wrong there.
-
Thank you for the Irsays having the eggs to leave in the middle of the night before they made the team a state asset......
-
OK, he gets POed because he gets beat and he does something cheap the next play. Not high standards but maybe needing a little anger management.....meh, he's just cheap.....and that has nothing to do with "emotion"
-
Suh isn't dirty, he's intense, he couldn't carry the jockstrap of one of the "bad boys of the NFL" list from the 60s and 70s when they were really dirty. This is just another PC has gone too far point, yes protect the players but they are being paid huge money to play a violent game so let them play with some emotion.
I don't condone any dirty or illegal play but somebody needs to call the Wahmbulance on this one.
Off my soapbox now, I apologize for any hurt feelings I may have inflicted by my opinion.

Yeah, what she said!!!Hush, you. If the Colts have a rematch with NE I 100% guarantee we hold them to under 50 points regardless of how those points are scored!
-
Yeah, and the Colts were 2-14 what does last year have to do with this year? Nada!Did you watch the Broncos v Pats game last year? It wasn't even close. The only time the Broncos gave the Pats trouble was the 2005 playoffs. This year the defense was just as bad.
-
And if frogs had wings they wouldn't smack their butts when they landed after a jump....If the Patriots beat Hou next week
Colts beat the Texans x2 + chiefs + titans
Colts = 12-4
Hou = 11-4 with 1 more game
they can tie and colts own tiebreaker right
Yeah anything is possible but I'm savoring the taste of a playoff game so don't pour on the pepper.

How about "starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts Andrew Luck?"I think it's time we bestow him with one.
My vote goes for:
"As Advertised" Andrew Luck
It just fits.
-
Yup, after this year anything is possible.

Ben is tough, has to be more he isn't telling.

But what if they take twinkie cakes and stuff them with Little Debbies filling...is it still the same???Twinkie is not out of business, Hostess is. Twinkies wont go away, Hostess is just liquidating and selling off all their assets. Meaning twinkies will just be made by someone else.
Glad we got current issues covered now....

It's selfish but if it does I'm going to see a good game, my son in law has season tickets and he gave me the Houston tickets as a birthday present. I don't want it to seem negative but watching a make or break game would be great--besides the Colts win at home anyway, right? If the Colts lose at Detroit and Houston and defeat Tennessee and KC (1-10) on the road...
we are 9-6 and the entire season comes down to the final game at home vs. Houston on Sunday, Dec. 30.
If the Colts win Sunday in Detroit and top Tennesse..but lose to Houston and KC on the road.
we are 9-6 and it still comes down to the final home game vs. Houston on Sunday Dec. 30.
...if we lose all three of our remaining road games..and only beat Tennessee...we are 8-7..
..and it still comes down to the final home game against Houston on Dec. 30
we have not faced an elimination game of any kind all season...
///can this team win one 'winner-take-all' game at home over a superior opponent with the post-season bid on the line...??
your thoughts :shifty:

What about the "Luck" part of the discussion, it belongs here.I totally agree - the mods need to encourage / force the use of the following "NFL General" forum for these threads:
http://forums.colts..../5-nfl-general/
Mods - Please move RG3 threads to the NFL General forum. Thanks!

Why should this be the only place not discussing it? This will be discussed until one or the other flames out or goes to afterburner and leaves the other behind.

I've had lows that I never thought I would get out of, but I didn't do something stupid like take my life because no reason is good enough to inflict hurt on others when you leave them behind. My prayers go out to the ones he left.It is a bit more complicated than that...we don't have the first clue as to what was going on in his life. Was he clinically depressed? Bipolar? Gambling problem? I could go on...it is way too easy to say "he had it all", when in reality he may have had some major issues. Just bc someone is an NFL player doesn't make them magically immune to normal human problems. My thoughts and prayers are with his and her family and the Chiefs organization.

Chiefs LB Jovan Belcher shot and killed his girlfriend at 8 a.m. this morning, then proceeded to the Chiefs training facility and shot himself, committing suicide in front of GM Scott Pioli and head coach Romeo Crennel
What is going on with these players? They have it all and throw it away for nothing.

If you want to keep going back one year, the Baltimore franchise started as the Dallas Texans, and they kept the blue and white colors, thats why the Cowboys and the Colts have similar color schemes. What really irritates me is when I see Indianapolis Colts shirts and attire that says Established 1953 on them. The Baltimore Colts were established in 1953. -
1) Like any team that moves to a new home, it's history but doesn't change anything.1) Do you have any feelings towards the Baltimore Colts as far as the history, including Johnny Unitas or do you view the Baltimore Colts as a completely different team and share no connection?
2) Is the rivalry with New England dead now that Manning is with the Broncos?
3) Since the Baltimore Colts beat the Cowboys in a superbowl, do we have 2 superbowl wins or did that superbowl win not transfer over?
4) How is the stadium experience, including the Colts store?
2. The rivalry was Manning and Brady, the two best qb's at the time, there is no more rivalry.
3. Technically 2, actually 1. Again changing homes changes everything--
4. LOS is the best in the NFL.

The Saints won in Nawlins, they won't in Hotlanta.38-31 Saints over the Falcons. This I hold to be the truth and nothing but the truth unless they lose.

I live a few miles south of the state line and it's about the same either way but not driving to Detroit.Who else is headed to Ford Field this Sunday! Much shorter drive for me! Only 2 hours to Detroit from where I am opposed to the 7 hours I drove to Indianapolis in week 2.
Hope to see some Colts blue in the D, I don't want to be the odd man out!
-
Me too, section 128 with my son in law. Don't want to discuss it now, bad luck to count those chickens.....No because I am going to that game and will be my only one this season
-
All I hear about is Brady and Manning in a very slow, non clear cut MVP year. Lots of stories out there, keep looking. He is playing at the highest level of any QB right now.
-
My only issue was my question, the rest of the list is fine after all it's all just opinion anyway.Just out of curiosity, who would you rank #1?
