The Patriots game is still big but the rivalry moved with Manning, didn't the coverage for the Broncos/Pats game prove that with all the quarterback duel comparisons? Even the NFL tried to keep the rivalry issue down when they moved the Colts into the newly formed AFC South and put the Miami Dolphins in the AFC East when it should have been the other way around. Great rivalries are divisional-Cowboys/Redskins, Bears/Packers, Steelers/Ravens, there are many more examples so the rivalry with New England was brought on by having two of the best quarterbacks in the game play each other every year and making boatloads of money from it.

6-3 whoodathunk?
No, I didn't think they would do this well and I am very pumped because putting it plainly,
THE COLTS DON'T SUCK THIS YEAR!!!!
I usually don't like being wrong but this time I love it!

Comes on an hour earlier for me I live in NW Indiana where we are in the Central time zone.Daylight savings time

Painting and cleaning, several members of my family are driving from Indy to my home in La Porte to celebrate my 60th birthday....and watch the Colts squish the fish!
I know they're not fish but my way sounds better than "maim the mammals."
-
See my reply to QwizBoy.....Dolphins are not fish
-
Hey, I wore dolphins on my chest in the Navy as a qualified submariner and we referred to the pin as "fish" so a little creative license is requested here.....lol!What fish would you be referring to? Dolphins are mammals, not fish. Maybe you should chant " Handle the Mammal, Handle the Mammal!" Not as catchy, but it would be politically correct...

I can't go to the game this week but say it loud so the TV mikes hear it,
SQUISH THE FISH, SQUISH THE FISH, SQUISH THE FISH!
Yea it's childish but I turn 60 tomorrow and I'm regressing to my youth.....
-
Yup, I agree they are hot at home and won't lose!!The hard core, broken down gamblers say Miami nips us...
That's probably cause they beat the Jets like a dusty rug...
I would not go against the Colts at home right now.........we should be all fired up Sunday..
I think we are 4-3 against the spread....I'd stya with the Colts

Well, opinions are like many things, everyone has one but this one should have come with a roll of toilet paper....

It's magic watching him do that, you can't help but get caught up in the excitement of the moment.

I think even if Locker was healthy they should stay with Hasselbeck, he is doing it.ProFootballTalk @ProFootballTalk
With Locker still not healthy, Hasselbeck will start again this week http://wp.me/p14QSB-68g0

I'd be happy to see them resemble the 2006 Colts.
-
Yeah, the Colts got scheduled in the "lamegame" slot all season because of the record last year. I'd be real pleased to see the programmers regret that decision and have to flex them later this year.

Is it surprising that Indianapolis is the 3rd largest market watching Broncos games each week after Denver and whoever the opponent is? Is anyone surprised that there is still a huge following on this page, Peyton Manning is the once in a lifetime player we cheered until we had no voice left.
We have a new quarterback that we hope will take us to those emotional heights again so with high hopes of shouting ourselves hoarse we look to the past for memories then look to the future and dream.
Maybe, just maybe we can go there again.

Wow, sounds like its time for a group hug......

Luck has played a few games at the NFL level and you're already bailing on him? Give the rookie at least a full season before the sky starts falling.Maybe Sanchez and whoever starts for KC. Maybe Peyton due to injury, but thats about it.
-
Ahhh, maybe. The Giants sure brought them back to earth and maybe someone else can too.Congrats to the Seahawks its to bad they will eventually implode. unfortunately it starts next week in San Fran

Wow.
in NFL General
Saw him play 4 times at LOS, he does bring something extra to the game doesn't he?
-
Ah, a bit of cranial flatulence on my part as you are right he wasn't under contract but if Archie hadn't been so adamant about not playing for the Chargers who knows what Eli might have decided? They didn't have Eli under contract; he refused to play for them. That's partially their fault; Spanos and Smith have a reputation that precedes them.
-
He quarterbacked the loser in the biggest come from behind win and it was against his old buddy Peyton Manning.
Rivers is good but the Chargers had Brees, Rivers, and Eli Manning under contract and I think they probably wish things had worked out differently in the choice department.....oh well.
-
I'd love to see them win this one just for payback after they backed into the playoffs a couple years ago, if the Colts can get the crowd down on the Jets it would be great.
-
I'm just marveling at the crazy ideas people come up with to talk about on here.
Oh well, go Colts!

Love your signature.....Nice post, Sub.

3rd best at best. Maybe even 4th if the Bears keep improving but a good win just the same.
Who would you rather the Colts face?
