  1. The Patriots game is still big but the rivalry moved with Manning, didn't the coverage for the Broncos/Pats game prove that with all the quarterback duel comparisons? Even the NFL tried to keep the rivalry issue down when they moved the Colts into the newly formed AFC South and put the Miami Dolphins in the AFC East when it should have been the other way around. Great rivalries are divisional-Cowboys/Redskins, Bears/Packers, Steelers/Ravens, there are many more examples so the rivalry with New England was brought on by having two of the best quarterbacks in the game play each other every year and making boatloads of money from it.

  2. What fish would you be referring to? Dolphins are mammals, not fish. Maybe you should chant " Handle the Mammal, Handle the Mammal!" Not as catchy, but it would be politically correct...

Hey, I wore dolphins on my chest in the Navy as a qualified submariner and we referred to the pin as "fish" so a little creative license is requested here.....lol!
  3. The hard core, broken down gamblers say Miami nips us...

That's probably cause they beat the Jets like a dusty rug...

I would not go against the Colts at home right now.........we should be all fired up Sunday..

I think we are 4-3 against the spread....I'd stya with the Colts

Yup, I agree they are hot at home and won't lose!!
  4. Is it surprising that Indianapolis is the 3rd largest market watching Broncos games each week after Denver and whoever the opponent is? Is anyone surprised that there is still a huge following on this page, Peyton Manning is the once in a lifetime player we cheered until we had no voice left.

We have a new quarterback that we hope will take us to those emotional heights again so with high hopes of shouting ourselves hoarse we look to the past for memories then look to the future and dream.

Maybe, just maybe we can go there again.

  5. They didn't have Eli under contract; he refused to play for them. That's partially their fault; Spanos and Smith have a reputation that precedes them.

Ah, a bit of cranial flatulence on my part as you are right he wasn't under contract but if Archie hadn't been so adamant about not playing for the Chargers who knows what Eli might have decided?
  6. He quarterbacked the loser in the biggest come from behind win and it was against his old buddy Peyton Manning.

Rivers is good but the Chargers had Brees, Rivers, and Eli Manning under contract and I think they probably wish things had worked out differently in the choice department.....oh well.
