I've never heard of such a thing..The Baltimore offensive coordinator is the old Indy head coach.
He Knows the Colts.
But the new Indy head coach is the former Baltimore defensive co-ordinator.?
He knows the Ravens
Can that be real??
Who REALLY has the edge?
Caldwell didn't bother to learn the playbook when he was here, why does anyone expect him to remember it now?

Bleeding blue for "Old Home Week" and I can feel the love!!!
Go Colts!!

Here is the deal, if they win, I will force myself to a season of Tecmo Super Bowl on the SNES with the scrubby Jeff George led team to a Super Bowl, and post all my stats, games and everything on this season. I will play it out till I WIN A SUPER BOWL with Jeff George.
I really don't have a problem doing this, even if they lose I might do it cause I am God of Tecmo Bowl with Jeff George under center. George to Langhorne TOUCHDOWN. I'd prefer to do it on TSB 3, cause at least you have Marshall Faulk, but a real challenge would be the first TSB game I own on SNES.
Go Colts!
I had to look tecmo bowl up because I quit gaming after Space Invaders.....

Chicago is still very windy
Tongue in cheek answer, this is what I was referring to, from Wiki:
While Chicago is widely known as the "Windy City", it is not the windiest city in the United States; Brockton, Massachusetts is[citation needed]. Chicago is not significantly windier than any other U.S. city. For example, the average annual wind speed of Chicago is: 10.3 mph (16.6 km/h); Boston: 12.4 mph (20.0 km/h); New York City, Central Park: 9.3 mph (15.0 km/h); and Los Angeles: 7.5 mph (12.1 km/h).[2]

The Bengals starting using "Who Dey" a couple years before the Saints adopted "Who Dat". Trying to get the saints to admit to anything that isnt positive tho, just isn't going to happen, and yes Drew Brees still need someone to explain.
Don't know when Bengals used Who Dey? but Saints fans I knew in the 80s used who dat and like I said before it was a cajun/mod edit expression been around a long time

Dallas Cowboys- claiming themselves as "Americas team". Only America plays football. How can there be a team for America?
Redskins- "Hail to the Redskins". Nobody is hailing to nobody! Especially the skins...
Chicago Bears- "Monsters of the Midway" Maybe the 1985 Bears but thats pretty much it...just stop...
Saints- "Who that team that gon beat dem saints?". Everyone was beating them until 2009. They have no right to say that...
What is a phrase you hate?
They were Americas team in the 70s and 80s, very popular everywhere but nowadays not so much, another heavily used one there is How 'bout them Cowboys!
Hail to the Redskins, isn't that their team song or something?
Monsters of the Midway is as dated as calling Chicago the Windy City, doesn't fit anymore.
Who dat? Cajun/mod edit expression the Saints fans used first, everyone else just copied.
Oakland Raiders Commitment to Excellence....yeah, right.
St. Louis Rams Greatest Show on Turf....I still Like this one.

A team tries to get the best candidate available and when the Bears jumped in so soon it shows they knew BA was going to get several offers for a job. The just wanted first crack at it.
-
If he announced after losing the game next Sunday...and the Ravens WILL lose...it would tend to look like that game made his mind up for him. This way he can use the announcement for team motivation and to remove all doubt that win or lose (lose) he is done with playing football.
-
I told some friends of mine the Bears would want a successful offensive minded head coach but nooooooo!
Maybe now they'll believe me but they are Bears fans and in permanent "next year" mode....
-
Motivation, the whole team has been dragging lately and the Colts play has almost been inspired....with a few speed bumps.
-
Maybe Avery does not run comeback routes as well for an outside wideout with speed, maybe???
Maybe but I'll stick with the official reason. It's a pretty good excuse anyway...
-
Decent analysis here that he doesn't like to throw the ball away, he just wants to make a play first. The picks will drop dramatically when he matures as a quarterback.
-
It's always so good to feel the love there when it's "old home week"
Sometimes I don't think they like us anymore.....
-
Seattle will win. The 'skins are good but the Seahawks will beat them like they did the Niners.
-
Rex needs to focus more on PRO-duction and less on PRE-diction.
In case you couldn't tell, I don't like the fathead, or his father either.
-
surprised nobody brought up Donnie Avery's absence in the gameplan..
His shoulder had him questionable before gametime so they planned around him.
-
Before the HATMC jumps your post. The Patriots did miss the playoffs with Cassell. Barely.. but they still missed it...
Oh, sorry too late to correct it. Guess I'll stat check in the future instead of trusting my memory....anyone got any extra brain cells? I burnt a bunch out in the 70s....lol

It's going to be a co- MVP for Manning and Peterson, both these guys really deseve it!!!

Co MVP Peterson and Rodgers.

Rodgers and Brady both had better years statistically than Manning, and they did it with less. AP should be the sole MVP, if he shares it there are more deserving, but the media loves their Manning.. not to mention they have to make sure the 50 restaurants he opened with the officially sponsored by the NFL, Papa Johns.. This award will forever be tarnished if Manning wins it this year.
The term "most valuable player" means just that. The Broncos were 8-8 without him and look to be serious Super Bowl contenders this year, the Pats benefit from having Bill Belichick for a coach and when Brady was out for a year they still made the playoffs. Rodgers is a great QB and deserves serious consideration but his Packers team also would do very well without him at the helm, Manning is clearly the only choice in my book....but I don't vote....
-
A first year pro, I'm very happy. Next year he'll do even better, count on it.
-
I love Peyton and he will forever be my guy but what AP have done this year is amazing..he literally put that team in his back and carried them to the playoffs..9 yds of breaking the record..that has got to hurt a little smh..
Sounds pretty much what Peyton did, except the neck injury with 4 surgeries was far more serious so he gets the awards.....IMHO of course.

Saw an ad for "Tony Romo Cologne"
Slogan is "You use it but the other guy scores,"
-
Yea, Broncos have had an easy road to the playoffs. They do have an all around complete team though, so they're a scary team regardless of who they played in the regular season. That cupcake schedule though is surely the reason they're the #1 seed, in front of the Pats who beat them already this year, but now will have to travel to Denver for a potential rematch.
"Cupcake schedule?" The only "cupcakes" I see are divisional and that is unchangable, the rest of the list is as tough as any.
-
I wanted them to do this well, I wanted Peyton Manning to have his shot at another ring, he chose where he wanted to play wisely and is as good as ever. I am overjoyed with the success the Colts are having with Andrew Luck, I don't miss seeing number 18 run out onto the field anymore, I just wonder...
-
Meh on the Pats..it's a new era. We will forge new rivalries.
Glad that we got the Seattle game at home. Peyton's homecoming game will be a doozy. Still looks like a pretty formidable schedule though...Colts look to be facing some legit offenses next season. Grigs better get that defense ready over the off season.
Yeah, spend that cap money on some horses to protect Luck!

Unbelievable.
