  1. Great front four pressure on third. HERE WE GO HORSESHOE HERE WE GO.
  2. While a touchdown would have been nice, a score is what we needed. Good drive to recover
  3. beautiful ball and quick work on that drive. Absolutely nothing since. We need points.
  4. Forget the defense for a minute. We’ve got some serious work to do on offense.
  5. because it was called a fumble on the field and likely wouldn’t be overturned. I think it was so close that the call on the field stands regardless. My personal opinion.
  6. commentators, including Matt Ryan “can’t point at the sideline, automatic taunting.” solid 84, “just let him be happy.”
  7. He was clearly mouthing to the sideline. He pointed at them (taunting) and was clearly saying something.
  8. we don’t even know what was said. But you can’t point at a sideline. That’s clear case taunting.
  9. Pierce turning on the jets. Great ball by minshew. Clean pocket
  10. I think that is largely a change in philosophy from the ownership. Jim wanted Grigson to be very aggressive in FA. Mike Bluem controls the cap space and basically presents what they can and cannot do, and does it very well. So even under Grigson, we were never in bad cap shape. But he dished out some big time contracts to guys that did not pan out. He also traded a big pick or two for players that didn’t pan out. Ballard got this job with a presentation of cost cutting measures and a focus on the draft, which is where he had most experience and success. Hiring CB was a total philosophy change and continues to be that being aggressive in FA doesn’t generally work and the more logical route is to acquire as many picks as you can, and try and hit/retain as many strong players as you can. I can say it until my face is blue, but I don’t think there is comparison between Ballard and Grigson. Grigson inherited a franchise left tackle, (HOF caliber) pass rusher, #1 (also likely HOF) receiver and the Andrew Luck sweepstakes, which have been the premium positions Ballard’s struggled to land/develop. This team over the last few years has been more competitive against top teams in the regular season, even in last year atrocious season (beating Kansas City, taking the Eagles to the brink, etc) than we saw with Grigson’s teams. Andrew Luck was the difference in record, and I’m not sure you can dispute it. How many close games has this team played the last several years with backup (if even that) caliber qb play? The difference in winning those games and making playoff runs was Andrew Luck.
  11. I think so too. They have to announce with at least 12 days notice and it makes sense that they wait to see results Sunday before making a primetime call. I think we’ll be in the primetime slot because of the Steelers (we’ve played quite a few primetime Steelers games over the last decade it seems.)
  12. The timing of McDaniels interview and subsequent disaster should be in context when looking back. It wasn’t a bad look at the time, as he was a top coaching candidate, if not the top. He had failure in Denver at a young age, returned to New England and had success. Hindsight is always 20/20, and we are fortunate he didn’t come here, without any doubts. I think Frank was head and shoulders better as a head coach and leader. I also should have taken it more seriously at the time in understanding the McDaniels might not have liked the information he was given about Andrew Luck’s future.
  13. 8th in scoring with Gardner Minshew under center.
  14. You can be done discussing it, but i'm going to respond. You absolutely can cancel cable. You can cancel anything you'd like, and not one thing is going to change. You seem like one that would love to have everything free and then complain about the quality of everything going down the drain.
