  1. but it is pretty obvious that is how it works in the nfl. I’m not saying it should be…
  2. #1, it absolutely was recency bias by Steichen. There’s no difference in missing a kick from the same spot as the first half and turning the ball over on downs. Steichen put a value on scoring, and potentially taking more time off the clock that was higher than punting the ball. A fieldgoal is still a 2 score game so they obviously valued a touchdown there versus risking another missed 58 yarder. Had gay hit the end of the half, they are kicking that fieldgoal. #2 I’m not sure why you are attacking me for “gaslighting you.” You should learn about how analytics are used. They were definitely at play there, and the missed kick was factored in there (as it is in most games you are referring to him “doing it like once a game.”)
  3. that was a no call though. Correct call. No way we get bailed out there. Had he caught it, it’s still a turnover on downs. (No pun intended Josh Downs )
  4. recency bias. That missed fieldgoal at the end of half is on the mind. Going up 13 doesn’t change much. Why are we still passing so much?
  5. minshew’s decision making and turnovers have been so eerily similar to Carson Wentz. Big play capable- bone head decisions and tries to play hero ball (although not as often). Finish strong Colts.
  6. Seemed like pass interference but that’s a no call when 4 yards short of the 1st down on 4th. Why is that the decision there? There’s no chance that is a first down
  7. I don’t get too worked up in wins, even close ones. but man, when we lose close games, it’s debilitating. Ha Blow out losses? I’m listening to the second half and working in the yard or cleaning in frustration.
  8. get the run game going. Another touchdown might be what we need to have a nice finish in this game instead of a high blood pressure ending like usual.
  9. who is to say Steichen would come for a new gm? Did you ever even consider that fact? Steichen bought in to Ballard’s process and philosophy and came here. matter of fact, had he fired Ballard, it would have been perceived as potential organizational issues, which may be the case on Irsay’s part. Keeping Ballard and sticking to a logical (not to say not without mistakes or error) process indicated stability to go after a high profile coaching candidate like Steichen
  10. you changed the entire argument, when you were called out for bringing Roseman in to the conversation and using incorrect information to try and prove your opinion. You know in debate, changing the original conversation to something that’s more distracting, like someone else’s perceived emotions, is called a red herring. You are doing great at it. Signs of a losing argument.! 👍
  11. if you think this makes me emotional in any way, you are as off as you are on the stats you use to support your pitiful argument. im perfectly chill watching the colts play.
  12. no colts fan should tear him down. Build him up! Hope he goes and balls out somewhere that fits him better. That’s called a win-win situation for everybody.
  13. LET’S. GO! what a play. What a quick striking drive. THAT’S COLTS FOOTBALL.
  14. your opinion is irrelevant though. Your opinion obviously isn’t the opinion of the Irsay family. And rightfully so. You can’t even get the facts right to support your argument. Not even close.
  15. not one person thought they would come close when Wentz down in ‘17. It was really a miraculous run. but that’s not the discussion at hand, but you keep on using it to prove a point that isn’t even relative. The whole point is that they didn’t fire Roseman after a similar start. They kept to the process and it paid dividends. They didn’t fire him after winning 22 games in 3 years following the super bowl win and getting a top 5 pick/trading their #2 pick qb away, they stuck to the process and now they have an elite team.
  16. Todd Bowles special. Exotic blitzes from the linebackers are going to be common today. Good drive otherwise to tie the game. Reset and get a good stop here.
  17. First and goal from the 1 and coming up with a banged up qb and only 3 points is a huge win for the colts defense after a rough start. Let’s get rolling on offense.
  18. in the first seven years, when everyone is bringing Ballard’s record in as the main discussion, yes, there is plenty of comparison. You cannot use the last 6 seasons of Roseman’s career as gm as substance when comparing Ballard’s first 7 seasons. they both fired multiple coaches. They both utilized vet qbs. Ballard has a playoff win under his belt when Roseman did not. It’s not hard to comprehend, you are just bringing fake information in to make a point that doesn’t exist.
