Things like this happen when your marketing department (like marketing departments everywhere) is filled with intern/entry-level rocket scientists.

Survive the initial Patriot's onslaught in the first possession or two, and we'll have a real game on our hands to watch. If the Colts fall behind by 10-14 early-on (which they seem to do all too often) and it's Katie bar the door...
-
I'll just state the obvious - Lucas Oil Stadium is not Gillette Stadium.
Bring it.

A win - without injuries. That's plenty.

BTW, my icon is the remarkable #20, Albert Bentley - who consistently, far out-performed his (supposed) talent level (as did Dominic Rhodes after him).
I still remember one time on Sportscenter - after a Colts win, when the broadcaster -- describing the game with Eric Dickerson (who was described as a "Rolls-Royce") out with an injury: "What do you do when you don't have your Rolls-Royce? You go to your Bentley!"

Falling behind early...

You're right. We treat our players like its elementary school.
I wonder if Pagano gives our guys nap time as well
And this is in a league, where thanks to an insanely-limiting CBA - the teams don't spend nearly enough time working on the little things. Yay, union.

Is his first name really "Boom?"

First time I've seen Luck look bewildered. Haven't seen relentless pressure like that in...well maybe never.
-
Well, the only reason i posted on it is that the tweet was done by the Colts "professional" PR staff. They should know better.

I believe the word is "speak."

Did you know Andrew Luck and Bjoern Werner talk German to each other before games? WATCH: http://indcolts.co/0JYutP pic.twitter.com/NnmAP3gLzP

Entering the NFL? He should be entering the penitentiary.

There is no Luck hate. Just because someone doesn't believe he is the greatest young QB there is, doesn't mean it is hate. Usually Luck is regarded as the best young QB in the NFL. Only the minority believe differently.
Ooops.

Polar opposite of past, recent history. For years it seemed the Colts couldn't get off the field on third down.

Tell me why San Francisco, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Carolina (just to name a few) have all made a concerted effort to keep defenses honest with occasional QB runs.
He's established that he's made of glass. Wilson is tiny compared to Luck and he seems to be doing just fine. Newton as well (although he's built similarly to Luck).
Foles burned us with runs, too. Other teams seem to have no problem with it.
Russell Wilson has yet to take "the" hit yet. When he does, at his size, it could be devastating to him and the Seahawks.

we have to go 14 and 2 or 15-1 to get first seed
This year could well be an abberation. Parity is real.

was it just me, or did the Colt/Balt game get zero coverage during Monday Night Countdown this past week?
Also got zero mention on the Monday morning talk radio shows.

Houston faces the same challenges, except for the relatively short flight the Colts will take to get down there. Champions stiffen the spine, suck it up and show what they are made of. No quibbling, no excuses, no quarter.

Didn't mean to stir up hate and discontent for the LOS. Just posted the status as soon as I got the notice on my Colts Android Application. :^)
Mods - please feel free to delete this thread.

For today's matchup with the Ravens...

Who else remembers when Tarik Glenn retired?

He might not be top 5, and that's fine. The Jags are bad, but the Titans coming into yesterday's game had one of the best pass defenses and Luck shredded them. He's doing what he's supposed to against inferior teams.
Hard take seriously when the avatar is wearing a top hat. ;^)
