When my wife walks in front of the TV, blocking my view.

The Patriots!
Beat me to it...

It's not Grigson's job, actually. It's Mike Bluem's job, who is the contract/cap/compliance guy.
As the general manager, Grigson is responsible for everything.

Super Bowl III Unitas has a guy wide open ion the end zone and he is waving his arms trying to get Unitas's attention but Unitas never saw him. Worst game of my life.
It was Earl Morrall who didn't (so he said) see Jimmy Orr. In later years there are those who say he saw him, but the gamblers had the fix in.

There are several from Super Bowl III. Just saying, youngsters.

All the off-season antics by the punter are enough of a distraction for us all.

If you make another commercial looking like a Joe Namath throwback - you're benched!

I think he can be.... Keep in mind he was a UDFA. He played very well at Florida in college.
He played well in the NFL for an UDFA! He's got potential! I think he is strong and very athletic. Just lacks some technique and coaching can usually help or fix that!

I just want to say thanks to everyone for this thread. True amusement is a rare gift.

Anyone with 3-500 bucks can learn to drive a "pace car" around an oval.

Just whom, exactly, is "underestimating Brady?"

It just seems like the fo is not 100 percent interested in winning , Its not just the draft but the on field decisions , if the Horrible play calls continue andrew wont make it another year, If everyone knows your going to throw the ball it makes it a lot easier to defend. In the same instance they are predictable on run downs, The only difference is maybe gore gets 4.0 yards on first down instead of just making it back to the line of scrimmage. I do think they improved some but not where it was needed most.
Yes, I'm sure that's it. The owner, GM and coaching staff of an NFL franchise aren't 100 percent interested in winning. They probably huddle during the off-season, under a banner that say's "Let's be mediocre next season!"

You can't win with the media. If Hilton says he's ready for camp, they'll say something like "Hilton does not express excitement to work with Dorsett, could demand trade". If Hilton says he likes the pick, they'll say "Hilton feeling complacent, could sign with another team next year". If Hilton says he thinks Dorsett is a great pick and he's ready to mentor the rookie, they'll say "Hilton wants Colts to air it out, ignore running game"
Spot on. I have been a public affairs guy working with the press for a number of years - this is precisely what the field of journalism has become.

Get out the Pollish Because TB's reputation is now tarnished
Sorry, PT. One cannot buff a tu*d.

I was thinking the same thing. No 'league' level person would have knowledge of what more than one Colt had to say about our #1 pick and I highly doubt any colt would make such a statement (if it traces back to them, this sort of thing is not good for team dynamics)
So, somebody made this up is what I think. And it's Florio so..........yep
Woohoo. I've been quoted by Nadine! Sorta like being a professional umpire in the minors and "getting the call." :^)
-
With no named sources to cite, this is rumor and innuendo likely planted with a moronic "league source" by someone's agent.
Either go on the record or pipe down.

Shorter version is the old adage - "The best defense is a good offense."

I saw #19 play in one of the first games I ever watched on television (black and white, btw), back in '67.
-
Does it matter? Can you honestly say that when you are watching a home game, you are looking at the logo on the field and not the play that is happening?
They could put a deformed llama with an eye-patch in a pink frilly hat on the 50 for all I care.
Ditto. Well - it is the off-season.

Doesn't compare to Tyler Thigpen, I'm sure...
-
He is still a decent return man.
All he needs to do is improve his judgement when calling for the fair catch.
Unfortunately, good judgement under duress really can't be taught or learned. It's an innate trait.

I bought a club-level seat for the Jets Playoff game a few years back. Wouldn't want to sit anywhere else. The ticket was about 250.00 IIRC.

Grigs can spot a WR. Gotta love our WR Corp this year, best we've had since 2004: Marv, Wayne, Stokely

The "Gods" want a deep Playoff run. What a puff schedule.
Won't mean diddly without home field advantage throughout... :^)
