Don't overthink this, folks. The boobs in the NFL marketing department believe this somehow increases - to a worthwhile degree - the NFL's worldwide appeal. It's nothing more than that.

The 2nd half was a very good defensive performance. The secondary concerns me, as we don't really have much behind Vontae. Hopefully Adams comes back soon. Geathers played a solid game. I've also liked Manusky's work with the defense. He's had to deal with a lot of injuries, but still has the guys going strong. I like how he's aggressive with his blitzes
Sadly, Adams is a bit like Bob Sanders when it comes to injuries.

Are you describing Hasselback or Luck?
Don't blame the Oline. Hasselbeck holds on to the ball too long. He can't read defenses and often locks on to one receiver....usually TY.

Watched the replay on nfl.com this morning. Didn't really see much - but heard the announcer say at somewhere around the 1:40 mark that he did something to a knee.

I can't think of any in the NFL but Jason Kidd and Derek Fisher both became head coaches in the NBA directly after retirement.
Both the Knicks and Nets would have been better had they suited up themselves.
NBA coaches, IMO, are more personality managers than anything else.

Need a 3rd down completion, throw it to Whalen. Man has great hands. He is a non athletically gift smaller white kid who has excellent routes and hands and that trumps an athletically gifted bad hands speedy player everyday of the year.
He is not a savior but he is consistent and that's what every successful team has.

If you miss the final practice, you hardly ever play on gameday.
This would be a great opportunity to get Fleener & Allen involved to make up for being short a WR unless Carter is brought up to the roster

To me that has been Luck's fatal flaw his entire career. He doesn't know when to give up on a play and throw it away or run for 5 yards (not get the 1st down) and just slide. Big Ben, Brett Favre, Tony Romo, Matt Stafford, RG3, Johnny Manziel, (and countless others) all had that same flaw.

"Historical" is not the correct term. "Historic" maybe, but with a defense that's still in mid-season...it's the wrong term to use.

Not every fan has emotional ties to players, I certainly don't and feel the same way as the person you quoted. Peyote plays for the opposing team and I hope they hit him every chance they get. Some of you take fandom to a rather odd/weird level, especially when it comes players people have ZERO formal ties to.

Colts win an important game and shut down the rookie QB that was the talk of the league for the past week. Yet, the naysayers continue to say nay. C'mon, man - enjoy the win.
