I like Rogers and he and Whalen are the reasons why I think signing Nicks was a bad idea. But being behind Wayne, Hilton and Nicks and two TEs is not good for his development. The only way a player truly develops is by playing in games. And unless as you state the injury bug hits Rogers will not be playing a lot in games.
Sir- My unstated thought was that #87 will likely only be with the Colts another year or so, and who knows what happens with Nicks after a season. I was trying to say this is a great environment for a young receiver to learn his craft. :^)

Rogers is a beast. He is in the best place possible for career development with Luck as the QB and Wayne, Hilton, the newly-acquired Nicks and two stud TE's as the other primary targets. Could there be a stronger receiving corps for a young guy to grow up with?
I believe, honestly, that opposing DC's are already in near-panic mode trying to figure out how to handle what they will face this coming season.
Of course, the old injury bug may be their only prayer.

March 31, 2014For those of you who aren't familiar with Twitter
Tweet 1. Is directed at Josh Chapman. That's his Twitter handle
Tweet 2. obviously directed towards Ty Hilton
Interesting that T.Y. used the term "down low" in his tweet.

If I am wrong I am wrong, I don't care. But, my bold offseason AFC prediction is that NEITHER the Broncos or Patriots will reach the AFC title game next year.
I agree...that is a bit bold.

Fooled by a scripted pro day, eh?
-
Colts thread, yes?

I don't think you can take Cam and Rivers off of the list and for right now for whatever the reasons, Wilson and Kaepernick have to be rated ahead of Luck.
LOL...Cam and Rivers...LOL

Remember - "Under-promise and over-deliver."
That is all...

Don't know about 5. I have 3 I am looking forward to:
Divisional Playoff
AFC Championship Playoff
Super Bowl XLIX, Feb. 1, 2015
Just sayin'

Does "hits like Bob Sanders" = "always injured like Bob Sanders?" While we love the way he hit with reckless abandon - that may be why his career was injury-plagued and ended too soon.
-
No.

I've partied with Carson Wiggs before. He's a cool guy.
Good to know info. Absolutely vital.
-
According to many of you, Costa is a bum who should find work selling cars or insurance. Give the guy a chance to contribute before you bad mouth him. Jeez.
-
Nicks, I don't like it... but it is high reward low risk.... so......
A bit contradictory, no? It's high reward - low risk. What's not to like?
-
You have a chance to go after an obvious talent like a 26 year-old Hakeem Nicks? You do it. Grigson did it. Time to move on to other needs.
-
Obviously he meant in football context.
I don't think anyone here expects Grigson to split the atom.
Nah, but Nicks, Wayne and Hilton will be splitting some safeties.

Marvin leads in almost all of our statistical franchise WR records unless Reggie is able to go nuts and beat them all somehow. I think 88 and 87 (when RW leaves football for good) should be untouchable because they helped build the franchise with Peyton too.
If they let someone else wear the absolutely magnificent John Mackey's number - then Marvin's number is fair game. For you youngsters - Mackey was the mold for the modern day tight end was named to that spot on the NFL's "Team of the First Fifty Years." :^)
-
Luck should go talk to Grigs and tell him he wants an O Line that can protect him. Just be straight up. Luck should be furious with this move.
LOLOL. "Grigs, ya bastage! How dare you sign a back-up who can play guard and center in a pinch." Some of ya'll are certifiable. So the guy guy goes to camp and competes. He either performs and makes the roster or doesn't. Let's see.
-
Ooops. "Gentleman"
-
Seems like a good guy. He's saying the right things. Can't wait to see this smiling gentlemen show his nasty side. :^)
-
Yeah, I gotta wonder if Grigson asked Irsay to chill out with the tweets this time around, because of any inadvertent negotiating hang ups it may cause.
Boom. I knew something was missing this off season. Hope we don't jinx it by acknowleding our collective relief and gratitude that Irsay has been off the air.

Thus begins the inexorable slide into irrelevance and ignominity...
