  1. There was a whole thread full of them most of the season. The point is there are only three starting spots available for WR. We know two of them are Pittman and Downs. The only other spot is Pierce. So if the Colts are going to make a change at the starting WR spot it’s going to be Pierce. Again, according to several here that’s not needed because Pierce was being held back by the QB. Most importantly the Colts still seem to see Pierce as a starter. If that’s the case there isn’t room for another “starter” at WR. Now if you want to take a WR in the first or second round to push Pierce and know you are going to have a high end fourth WR I am all for that. Just understand unless the Colts decide Pierce isn’t going to be a starter anymore there isn’t room for a fourth “starter” at WR.
  2. That’s fine but that guy is mostly going to be used in a backup role this year. Again, people can’t say Pierce is struggling just because of the QB and he will be great with Richardson AND say they need another starting WR when they just paid Pittman and have Downs. You only start three WRs. I am fine with adding depth guys but unless the Colts are ready to give up Pierce, and there is nothing suggesting they are, Pittman, Pierce, and Downs are the guys.
  3. People can’t have it both ways and say Pierce is about to explode with Richardson and call for another starting WR when they just paid Pittman and have Downs. Someone has to become a backup WR in that scenario. Safe to say Pittman and Downs aren’t going to be that guy so that leaves the new WR or Pierce and if it’s Pierce hes not going to break out with Richardson.
  4. I am also of the opinion the weapons are not that bad. They have a legit franchise running back, two very good WRs and another people think will blossom with Richardson. That really leaves the TE spot and depth guys. Say they land bowers in the draft now the offense looks really scary.
  5. So I was driving around this morning and listening to Bowen and his partner and Bowen said he asked Ballard what he considers premium positions and cover your eyes @Superman he said to him the trench’s are the premium positions.
  6. Praise free agent Jesus the colts have signed a free agent may people calm down now. With that said I like this signing. While Buckner and Stewartt are maybe the best combo of DTs in the league they have NOTHING behind them.
  7. To you maybe. Again, I am not against moving on from Mo I am just stating that the Colts clearly like him more than the fans do. I heard the same stuff last off-season regarding Mo. Yet he’s still here with Shane and Ballard going out of their way to speak highly of him in the past couple of weeks.
  8. He’s maybe the best slot corner in the NFL and that’s why the Colts paid him. I don’t see them moving at this point in his career.
  9. We’ll see I heard all last off-season people expected him gone too yet he’s still here. Not ruling it out just saying I don’t think it’s a lock.
  10. I believe Granson’s contract is also up at the end of the year so you are really in the same boat with him. Someone is going to end up the odd man out. Cox and Granson seem like the most likely candidates to me but the Colts also seem to like them the most so I dont know.
  11. They like him. I know fans don’t but they clearly do. For the record I am not saying I am agreeing with them on liking him just answering why they are keeping him.
  12. Jones played better than Brents last year if anyone is going to the bench right now it would be Brents.
  13. C’mon Chloe I beat you by like two minutes you are getting slow. We expect more from you lol. Just kidding.
  14. Well the report did say no deal imminent so I don’t think that’s the case. I think the Colts and Moore are negotiating and perhaps Moore hasn’t gotten the offers he expected if this was leaked from his agent.
  15. Would be a solid backup if he ends up in Indy but honestly Colts, Texans or Titans could be in play if this report is correct. Jags just traded for Jones to be their backup so they are off the board.
  16. Kenny never said he wanted out of Indy and never requested a trade. Heck he didn’t even conduct a hold out he had a hold in during minicamp and was on the field when training camp started and then was all in last year and had a great season. He said early this off-season that he wanted to be in Indy. Your characterization that he’s wanted out of Indy couldn’t be more wrong.
