    ITunes wiped my entire IPod after moving all the files to a new computer. Freezes ITunes when connected, lags the computer all the way down trying to go into the device from Windows.

      Sorry Bogie. I hope you didn't permanently lose any great music meaning that you can still download whatever music you want again & transfer it back on your ipod.

      Thank god I moved all those files before it died. it's dead, I can't even get my computer to read it. ITunes freezes when it's plugged in, then unfreezes when you unplug it. I'm a little upset over it. Had this thing since December 2007. The back metal side is all scratched up but still mirror reflection. It's went through years of use. Moving from PC to PC to PC to PC probably helped kill it. Bummed I can't fix it this time. It's an ipod classic 80gig. I see Apple...

      I see Apple don't manufacture the Classic model again and that's a huge disappointment. i hate all this gadget tech stuff with touch screens and all the useless crap you never use. I used my IPod specifically for music and it held up great over the years.
