@Bogie, MR CROWWWLLEY do do do  I hate that too when I get a song stuck in my head and sometimes it lasts for days.

First time ever I'm out of likes. 

I have a young friend on another website who is into guitar stuff, and he recently was gifted an old plain jane Strat, that he's trying to get to "sound like a Les Paul" in his own words, and he's playing the Mr Crowley riffs in his audio he keeps sending me (he uses digital stuff) and we got carried away discussing the song, cause some of the chords in that song are unique how Rhoads uses them, and Rhoads soloing style is so complex. I was really impressed the kid can play all of this so easily, cause it takes so much work and practice to master his style. 

So this weekend between days, I've had to walk him through what to do with his plug in software setup and how to use a compressor pedal and distortion pedal together with a combo to give his guitar that boost he needs, but then it came out "too bright" and I've had to pretty much write him a tutorial on how to deal with a Strat's noisiness and brightness since this kid has never had to deal with one before. His highs on his digital amp I think are too high. I'll probably have to work with him again tomorrow cause his tone isn't quite there yet, but it's "almost" there. 

Strats can pull off the loud heavy metal style if the proper set up is applied with effects.
