With NFL season just 1 week away, I'm still heavily anticipating the NBA season beginning, and watching Cleveland drop that banner on opening week.

I am looking forward to chatting with you and Jules once the NBA starts. Honestly though I hope someone else other than the Warriors or Cavs wins it all this upcoming season. Not really a fan of either team. I wanted the Warriors in last seasons Finals but mainly it was only because they were playing LeBron. I am still disappointed in the Thunder blowing a 3-1 lead against the Warriors. I was really in a no win situation during the Finals because of who was in it. It made our chats very entertaining at least since I was rolling with the Warriors and you both wanted the Cavs. Unfortunately if both the Warriors and Cavs stay healthy it will probably be a re-match and then I am stuck again. It's like the Pats vs Seahawks in the SB, I am screwed either way because I don't want Wilson winning SB's while Andrew is still trying to get 1 himself and I hate the Patriots. I am so glad Cam lost last season and I at least got my satisfaction from Football of Peyton winning 1 last time, so Football wise everything worked out for me in the end regarding my SB pick considering the season the Colts had which was tough to watch.
No problem, we can all still chat about the NBA games.
As for this coming year? Well the Cavs return the same starting lineup and the only thing that may hurt them is injuries or fatigue. I have always said, I felt the east can be underrated too with defense. People pick on the east a lot, but I just think a few teams are a player or two away and one of those is the Celtics who can't seem to find or nab that superstar.
In the west, I despise the Warriors even more now and wish Durant didn't go there so bad. I am not sure what to make of this team right now. I have to see how they develop with chemistry.......I have to see also if someone like Curry can even stay healthy all year now. They are going to score a lot of points though, no doubt about that. But, I still hate these guys.
The Spurs might be the one who can break the cycle, I love the Gasol signing and think they might be better without Duncan who I felt hindered them. The Spurs are like the Patriots of the NBA, counting them out ever is stupid. Pop is like Bill B. who just often finds "ways".
I also want to see how the Lakers develop too. Ingram has a lot of potential and I like Luke Walton. I think they are a team for the future but it's not going to be anytime soon. I think they will be fun now and can move on a bit from the Kobe retirement saga so hopefully they develop.
