I swear, will never forget this song as I long as I live now.
I can apply it to almost anything and drive myself crazy with it.

I can't say I disagree with the music analysis of that episode.
This song also absolutely kicks butt too.
For me not sure anything can ever top that first episode I saw of Little Miss Dangerous. It was my first real time with Miami Vice and I just went to town with it all.
I make this sound almost intimate with the show now. OMG....

I fell in love with that show years ago, but I never had a real opportunity to thoroughly watch an entire season back then when I worked. It's aged very well considering it's 30 years old and has all the out-dated referencing and cultural impact of the 80's (IMO it's cooler now than it may have been back then, due to retro nostalgia)
Ted Nugent guest starred in season 2 'Definitely Miami' and yes, he had some pretty good rocking tunes before he turned into the extreme right wing bigot that he's been known as for the past decade.
From a music perspective, I think my favorite episode song-wise, is 'Stone's War' from season 3. They waited 3 seasons to finally put Jan Hammer's 'Crockett's Theme' into an episode, and they completely nailed this with the introduction of the white car. Peter Gabriel's 'Red Rain' and Steve Jones 'Mercy' completely fit that episode...and even the cheesy glam rock Andy Taylor song during the chase was fun. (Taylor, underrated guitar player from that era with a monster tone)
