I'm concerned with the officiating in this game. The Cowboys seem to get a lot of breaks as far as penalties. Maybe it won't be as bad in Indy as it would be at AT&T Stadium. Hoping, anyway.

A curse on Pete Carroll and the Seahawks!
I won in my daily fantasy, after all. Lindsey did OK after a slow start, and Amari Cooper got me over 30 points.

I was reading Texans message boards, and some of their fans were saying that O'Brien is holding Watson back with his play calling. The team is winning the division and there are some Texan fans who want O'Brien fired. Sound familiar? They were also calling out Romeo Crennel, saying that he didn't know what to do about Hilton.
-
Godwin didn't do much for me. I also have RB Lindsey, who did so well recently, but is doing nothing right now. Maybe Antonio Brown and Amari Cooper will come through for me.

Yeah, it was. Kind of like this thread.

Houston is due for a loss, and this week is a good time for that. TY Hilton was questionable, but it looks like he will be playing. That's a positive sign.

Does anyone let weather determine their fantasy lineup? I'm thinking about the forecast in Tampa. If the weather is going to be bad, maybe I shouldn't use anyone from NO or Tampa in my lineup, go with another team. Thoughts?

The weather forecast for TB vs NO is near thunderstorm level, 100% chance of rain, with 10-12 mph winds from one endzone to the other.
The game could be postponed if thunder and lightning is a problem. Also, it might not be as high scoring. Have to see how this affects fantasy as I have Godwin in one of my lineups.

I saw that Darnold will be back, but the Bills have normally been tough on TEs. Maybe it would be worth a shot for Herndon because of Darnold, although I would temper my expectations. I could be wrong, but that's just how I feel.

Either Jordan Thomas or Cameron Brate. Both games could be high scoring. I don't trust Herndon against Buffalo and not sure about Seal-Jones.
-
Tournament PPR: Godwin or Humphries against NO? I'm not sure who will have the larger impact or snaps. Both seem like good choices.

Frank Reich used analytics when he was with the Eagles, so I would think he uses them now. Either they were wrong, or Reich dismissed analytic readings this time. I like him, but don't always agree with his playcalling. When the offense is struggling, try the field goal instead of going for it. Not difficult.

Who is LVE?
I'm thinking it's Leighton Vander Esch of the Cowboys.

Nate Burleson on GMF was saying that the test for the Cowboys will be when they face the Colts. That Indy is the team to beat. There are still five games, but Burleson believes in the Colts and Andrew Luck. That should give the fans some confidence.

I like Chicago defense. It's difficult to determine who will get the most points, though, as the playoff picture will be more complete and some teams might rest their starters.
Also, can't always go by the "experts" as the Cowboys defense was listed as "sit" instead of "start" in fantasy against NO. Then look what happened.

I had a fantasy lineup for the Thanksgiving Day games. It was a five team league and I got first place even with Tre'Quan Smith in my lineup. (I had forgotten to remove him when it was likely he wouldn't play.) Brees, Ingram, and Julio helped me get high scores. Chicago's defense got me 13 points. Lucked out with that. Imagine if Smith would have played!

Glad this NFC North game is the first one, as I will not be watching the other two (my family does not watch much football). Go Lions!
Dallas over Washington
Saints over Falcons
I think the Bears will pull out this one but I'm hoping they don't. If the Lions lose at home to a Chase Daniel-led team, what does that say for Matt Patricia?
(Aren't you happy you did not hire McDaniel?)
If the Bears win, it says that Matt Patricia can beat Tom Brady, but not Chase Daniels.
The Lions usually play well on Thanksgiving, so the game could go either way. I'm happy with Frank Reich; McDaniels actually did the Colts a favor. An Eagles fan I know isn't too thrilled losing Reich and DeFilippo.

An Eagles fan I know said that losing Reich and DeFillipo (sp?) hurt the team. The offense doesn't play with the confidence and swagger they had last season. He blames the Patriots for this, because Belichick talked McDaniels into staying with NE, therefore letting the Colts grab Reich. The Eagles didn't have enough time to get a good offensive coordinator because of the McDaniels situation. So the Patriots are the cause of the Eagles meltdown.

I think the Packers' coaching has a lot to do with how Rodgers' approaches games. They depend on him to carry the team, and it's affected his play. Things might change in the organization if the Packers miss the playoffs again.
Seattle did a good job in keeping the ball away from Rodgers at the end. They ate up the clock, so Rodgers didn't have a chance to make a last minute touchdown.

Lamar Jackson has missed a practice, so if he's not ready, RG111 might start. The Ravens are being secretive about their QB situation. I'll keep checking back, and if Jackson doesn't play I'll go with RG111. It seems that Flacco is out.
-
Daily fantasy 10 league PPR: I'm thinking of being bold and starting Lamar Jackson as QB. That will give me more money to get high profile backs and receivers. I won't lose money, as it's free, so if this doesn't work out, it's no big deal. I'm not trying for playoffs or anything.
Should I go with Jackson and see what happens?

I ended up trading Tyreek, Aaron Jones, and Rams defense (I still have the bears) for AJ Green and Adam Thielen. I think this puts my team over the top.
I would take the Bears defense over the Rams' right now. However, AJ Green might not play until December. Last update is that he is expected to miss the game this coming Sunday. It might change, but his health needs to be monitored.

I thought that Peterman was going to play; didn't know about Barkley until it was too late to make a change. If I had known ahead, I would have gotten another defense. Usually I catch these things ahead of time, but not this time.

That is a crazy point system. I'll stick to daily fantasy where I play different lineups each week according to the match up. I almost won in a tournament, only needed 8 more points. One thing that hurt me was my defense: I had the Jets, who gave me minus three points.
Not doing very well with defenses lately.

I like this lineup. Kelce and Davante Adams are always good, and Boyd should have plenty of snaps with Green out.
It's difficult to determine how quarterbacks will do, but Chicago has a chance to win their division this week, so I would stay with Trubisky.
