I understand all of this but how does our Oline compare to Stanford's? Do they dominate their opponents like Stanford's? Then compare our WRs to Stanford's, it was clearly built for a pass heavy offense unlike Stanford.
I'd say we run the ball just as well and our WRs are better.

Once the losses pile up, the Colts will be a mediocre team. That is something most Colts fans are not ready for yet.
Your general trolling & haterade aside, this team has WAY TOO MUCH TALENT to have losses start to "pile up".

We REALLY have moved on from what we did last year. And we've completely left the Manning era behind.
The Indianapolis Colts are a run the ball and stop the run team. We're a lot more like the Stanford Cardinals than last year's playoff team or any Colts team during the Manning era.
Serious changes that I'm not sure all Colts fans have grasp. Myself included.

Its been roughly 7 years since the Colts have had a true RB (longer in IMO depending on how you view Addais first 2 years).
Years and Years of OL talk, and how our RBs have underperformed, with most of the blame falling squarely on the OL.
Now we are going to find out if it is truly the OL, or if we just didnt have the right RB.
Predict Richardsons final Colts #s this year.

Our past has NOTHING to do with our present or future.
We are now running Stanford's power running offense with Andrew Luck at the helm and Trent Richardson at the RB.
Anyone not orienting themselves towards the Richardson addition with that in mind is walking right by what we're doing.

No more 8 or 9 man boxes for Trent. Luck is good enough to see a safety cheating and moving up and it will make Trent a more efficient runner and Luck a more efficient passer. I'm on board, can you tell?

Love it. Regardless of what happens I think this was a good move. Richardson is a special talent-- one that you won't find in many drafts. His YPC average is down because of the team he played on and him being the primary focus. That won't be the case here.

Things are fine. Injuries happen. This new CBA has exacerbated that AND limited the normal preseason preparations that we expect. In turn affecting performance.
