Hahaha I wonder how many folks using the "Bradshaw is coming off an injury" line as some nebulous reasoning for not resigning him were chomping at the bit to keep Manning and Collie. -grin-
-
I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if we resigned Bradshaw. But we wont need Brown. Ballard & Trent'll be our 1,2 going forward.

I call B.S.

Sounds like the weather'll be relatively fine if everything ends Sunday "morning". The game starts in the afternoon. Might affect some church services....otherwise it's just cold?

No he doesn`t.
Yeah he does.

All numbers are from PFF (Pro Football Focus)
This season, TRich has had 55% of his run plays go outside of the tackles vs 45% inbetween the tackles. (91 vs 73). On his 91 outside the tackles runs, TRich is averaging 2.54 YPC, the 2nd lowest average in the NFL above only Ray Rice. On his inside runs he's averaging 3.6 YPC.
Brown has had 38 of his 80 runs between the tackles (48%). On these 38 runs, Brown is averaging 6.21 YPC, the 2nd highest average in the NFL. On his outside runs he's averaging 4.5 YPC.

Brown currently averages 3.74 yards after contact between the tackles BY FAR the highest in the NFL. 60% of his yards have come after contact.
TRich is currently averaging 1.88 yards after contact on runs to the outside, 40th in the NFL and a ridiculous 74% of his yards have come after contact.

Great post. Richardson is IMO still the better RB. Just needs a full season with us.

this thread is embarrassing to Colts fans. what the heck are some of you talking about? yes, he has missed a lot of this year... it could happen to anyone!!! do we not remember Peyton Manning missing an ENTIRE SEASON?? he seems to be playing well now... comparing him to Bob Sanders or calling him injury prone for having ONE groin injury is extremely ignorant. Have any of you ever pulled your groin? it is impossible to run with the injury and if you try to run on it too soon, you absolutely will injure it again. he is just trying to get through this ONE injury and get healthy.
the guy makes a HUGE difference for our D when he is out there. We arent giving up on the superbowl dream just yet. we need him in the playoffs at 100%.
Stop getting in the way. Metrosexuals must faint over something/anything twice a day.

LOL all this fainting.
Do we know why he did not participate today? Was it because he's hurt or because the staff decided to be precautionary?
Seems like something to know before I start belly-aching over it.

Brought in to supplant Vaughn...He has not done so
Yes. He has.
-
Toler was brought in to supplant Butler and he has done so. We don't go back.

Good news

Terrible idea.

Baiting- Short for flame baiting
Flame baiting- making a statement with the sole purpose of getting someone to attack you vehemently to draw ire from authority figures. See also: Trolling.
Ehhh subjective gibberish.

This is kind of what I was saying in the other thread. Pagano has gone from 'Satele is our starter' to now 'we'll see.' I'm thinking Satele gets benched.
Sure does feel that way.
-
Indeed.
THAT'S "BAITING"!!!?!!!
I really don't know what "baiting" is. Just figured I'd accuse someone of it.

It was broken when Grigson brought in Mcglynn and Satele to start
Ehhh it was broken the minute the QB it was designed to protect went down. Every move since then has ATTEMPTED to address it. But is still falling short.
-
The defensive unit not getting better killed the season
Nonsense.
-
Reggie was the straw that broke the camel's back metaphorically speaking.
I disagree.
The Camel's back was broken last year. And unfortunately was not adequately addressed this past offseason with better Oline talent. Any offense that hinges on a specific WR is an offense that hasn't been built correctly.

I know they got help from Denver yesterday, but they didn't back in to the playoffs. "But we are slumping! We are playing poor football!" Yeah, I know. But they won the division by beating Tennessee twice, Houston, and Jacksonville. Need I remind everyone they also beat Seattle, SF, and Denver, three teams that at one point held the title of "best team in the NFL." This is a different team now, sure, but they still WON those games to get to this point. The entire season's body of work won the South, not just Denver beating Tennessee. Had Denver lost yesterday, our boys would have clinched next week against Houston. I guarantee it.
For some reason I'm encouraged by the fact that we're slumping now. Creates some real pressure to focus. I hope we cut off all the excess, whatever it is...and refocus on our fundementals/responsibilities. Coaching counts a lot right now...hopefully ours are making the right decisions, doing less not more and are seeing positives heading into the playoffs.

Some folks here seem to forget that this is a free country, and every opinion has value, even if it doesn't fit into their narrow views.
Oi...if every opinion has value...then so do the narrow ones. #DeepAsACupOfCoffee #IgnoreList
Why does ESPN hate us!?
