  1. You are certainly entitled to your opinion hawkeyes.

If the management in San Francisco was "Happy" with Alex Smith's performance at QB, why even bring Manning into the facility at all? Answer: Either the team owner or the coaching staff wants to see significant improvement at the field general helm that Smith didn't exhibit enough on a consistent basis.

True, there is some uncertainty about the magnitude of Peyton's full recovery I will admit, but you don't bring in a SB winning, 4 time MVP just for a nice field trip & complementary beverage okay. Harbaugh is blowing smoke up his own backside if he really thinks anyone buys that foolish damage control statement. I don't buy a word of it. Snake oil will always be snake oil in my book.

Lol not only evaluating they made an offer,it just wasnt enough to sway PM,Lets face it several teams made him offers,he just went where he wanted to,and where he thought he fit,you are right on with your assesment Brother :foam:
  2. Yes Luck will be fine,He does have one skill PM doesnt, the ability to run, this kid is more ready to play than some think,Dont get me wrong tho he cant walk on water, only been one person for that one lol.The staff and managment had no intentions of sending a sacraficial lamb to the wolves. He will hold his own!

  3. I've said it before & I'll say it again. No one is doubting Peyton's work ethic. The question is: How well will #18 respond to hits & punishment during the regular season. His tremendous work ethic is not news IMO.

Your so right my Freind ,to this point his work ethic unparalled, except maybe by the late great Walter Payton, and i know you will see where im coming from,Walters was more of a physical nature, but still the same dedication. And you are right again ,how well will he take a hit?As with any team it is of the utmost importance of protection, that will be a big key also
  4. A 4th or 5th round pick isn't enough to get back from him. I would rather keep him than trade him for a 4th or 5th rounder. Pagano and Grigs both seem excited for his ability to play in the 3-4.

You are right on that,to trade for a 4th or 5th round would be ludicrous.IMO to even trade for a 2nd round may not be the right thing to do!
  5. Yes, Matt Forte was a significant portion of the Bears offense last season; But, when Cutler was out of the starting lineup the wheels fell off that franchise even before Forte got injured. All NFL QB's need a solid running game to run out the clock. It really ticks me off when people dismiss Cutler's contributions to this team & they always neglect to mention that Chicago under his tenure has never had a #1 wide receiver either.

Devon Hester isn't the answer here, but Brandon Marshal will be. Put Hester back on punt returns & keep him there permanently please. Hester will never be exceptional or even adequate wide receiver material, but he is a master on special teams no question about it IMO.

You are so right my freind, the Bears will be a force if they protect the QB ,just a little better than in the past
  6. Southwest my Freind you are so correct, its called censorship, because we arent ,excuse my english lol, grown up enough to read it.Lord knows we dont go to school everyday and read worse things or see them, plus we all have our cellphone to collect our filth from.So we are making a differance here Lol.!!!

  7. Did he even get the chance to play under former staff? I dont really think so,If hes going to shine,it will be under this coach and system, but its going to be up to him,.John Dee your right on,i think its produce or goodbye

  8. Lol your so right Brent, just go to work with me,you see it first hand.Pags wont put up with less than 110 percent,You better leave it all on field or you wont be playing
