  1. You must have watched a different game than I did :???: I thought Peyton looked good, he looked relaxed, he looked "comfortable" and he drove his team down the field "like he does" perfect pass into the end zone, that should have been caught, but was tipped... He seemed to be getting into a rhythm with his new team, and left me wanting to see more. I, for one, am anxious and looking forward to seeing him play this year.

You are right on the money Gramz

  2. No i didnt see Brady and yes Peyton was off on 2 throws out of 7. I just don't feel good about that. Don't get me wrong i'd love to see Peyton win another Superbowl. Does anyone know how RG3 did? This is gonna be an exciting year.

RG3 looked decent one series TD to PG cant base anything on one preseason game tho.It did look like composure was there tho
  3. Still blacked out on NFL network here until 9.00pm,However if they jump all over the place from game to game like they did yesterday,I will be happy to wait and see the whole game. Will be content with nascar at WG,and seeing JG try to make the chase!

  4. If I remember correctly it is being shown on the NFL Network, but it is not one of the live games. I think the first airing is at midnight tonight with repeats over the weekend. I think they are also showing it Sunday morning right before the Colts game if you want to catch both games back to back.

They blacked out the Colts game till 9pm
  5. IMO I just cant see this OL not being vastly improved once they gel, they are much bigger and athletic all the way across, and seem to cary the mental aspect or attitude to get it done, not to mention i think they have Lucks back to a man!Give em the preseason and a couple or 3 games i think you will all be pleasantly supprised if they stay healthy

  6. Again, all things consider I do expect him to be in the top half (top 16), Top 10 for that matter.

My numbers might be gaudy for a rookie quarterback, but they aren't gaudy for the quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts which is exactly what he is.

Decisions of this magnitude will be analyzed, criticized and dissected. A concept that I didn't create.

Of course there are various ways to define "Big Picture".

I agree with you FJC .I fully expect him to be a top 15 to top 10 and expect him to be productive, meaning more tds than picks, any less and hes a bust, but in all honesty i cant see him failing
  7. Gabbert operated in the spread/shotgun primarily in college whereas Luck took the vast majority of snaps under center. You're right TK85. Luck knows what to expect on a NFL field. Gabbert, on the hand, was just lost period.

Yes Brent, Wade Philips and Rex Ryan will probably outwit LUCK this year especially with overload blitz packages where the o-line can't pick everyone up, let alone determine who the real pass rusher is. I am torn too because I love JJ Watt, a Badger alumni, but his absence will certainly take pressure off Luck.

Vance, you are 100% correct. Luck learned from his dad in Houston not to get rattled easily, fight all 4 quarters, and just focus on grinding out a victory any way you can get it...muddy, bloody, slow, and consistent.

Im with you Brother, however if he has the grasp on this offense as they say he does,he should be able to audable to compensate, the key here is how he reads the D .IMO Luck will be just fine, but he will have a learning curb.
  8. A player like Fleener, IMO is a luxury... A player like Allen, IMO is a necessity. If teams want to win they have to have an end that can block and catch. And if a team wants to win BIG they need players who can score from anywhere on the field. . Fleener is a WR playing TE. He will be a very good asset to Indy,

This O will produce this season. I have said it since the draft. I really like how this O is shaping up.

I have to agree with your assesment John 100 percent, and this staff knew this when they drafted both. They will have a power running game, the line is much bigger and athletic with an attitude, not to mention behind such a line they have the backs to do it,in steps Ballard & Carter if he can hold on to the ball.It seems to me some people dont have the vision to see what this staff is doing,so IMO they just need to set back and watch
  9. My take on this thread is,its great to see some passion and intensity on the field.I think thats the kinda team Pags and Grigs are building,i think you will see it in the first preseaon game. The monster is ready to make some HITS!!!!!!!!!!
