Paul George is not going to be anywhere near MVP if Wes Matthews is shutting him down. I know Wes is a good defender but my goodness. Myles has to be the closer right now.

    Hes fine brother

he may look like hes being shut down simply not the case . He no longer has to carry the team, for there are plenty of weapons to go with him on Offense. I fully understand why you might think hes being shut down , because your used to seeing him take over the game. He will be just fine and probably better over the long haul.

  2. Will say this The Bears RB Howard from IU has looked pretty dog gone good in the absents of Lankford , maybe a heavy dose of Henry Anderson and a little bit of Arthur Jones can put a stop to that. It would also be nice to get off to a decent start on Offense so we can actually use Gore for a whole game, I for one have liked what I see from him last 2 games.

Damn good game tonight by multiple players, We cant expect to shoot nearly as well as we did from 3 often like we did tonight but several players had a good game. The biggest thing I took away from it however was at halftime and Paul George was interviewed he said he learned to find other ways to affect the game. I'm hoping that comes with the pass getting other involved because he can get his shot almost anytime he wants if he is aggressive and doesn't just settle for jump shots

I was most impressed by Thad Young and Glenn Robinson

Thaddius Young is a very good addition for us.

I forgot that the Bears cut him. If I don't have to give up anything for Gould, it makes more sense. You make a good point as usual. :) But I do like AV more. The guy is automatic. The Vikes would have won that playoff game against Seattle if we had AV.

Agreed and they would've with Gould as well , they are very comparative kickers AV just has rings lol ,a few at that. Both are good in inclimate weather as well

Would you trade Vinatieri?  If the Vikes continue to win the way they are, they will need a more reliable kicker than Blair Walsh.  I would not mind trading a pick or even one of our young D linemen (not Hunter) for a proven winner like AV.

Why when Robbie Gould is out there ? One of the better kickers in NFL history . Bears fans sure want him back lol

I get what you're saying about McMillan. Bird has just made it clear that we need to be faster and he has given us the personnel necessary to speed the offense up. People always bring up McMillan's pace with the Blazers and I'm just saying he knows what he's doing.

He probably didn't have the personnel needed for the faster pace before. You play with the hand that is dealt. Im not a bit worried about offense think we will have plenty. Just hope everyone buys in on D as well. If they do it could be a special year.
