stay with 'em
Its mid-season....we're 3 over .500..not great but not bad...
I'll say it again: When you bring in guys off other teams (Young, Teague, Jefferson, Brooks) are put them on the floor together, you need time (lots if time) to make it work...especially on defense...
..we overreact to losses...the playoffs dont start for 3 more months...I'm preaching patience
Agreed Mark IMO we are missing a key ingredient off the bench in Rodney Stuckey

I was thinking about this yesterday, and figured we could and should draft OG Anunoby out of IU, even though we have PG13. Anunoby could be a big 2 guard (6'8", 235 lbs) because of his great athleticism. Move him to the 2 and his defensive prowess could basically remove the opponents SG from the game. He's got great bounce on the fast break and can hit from 3 when open. Thoughts?
If he didn't blow out his knee ?

To me the scheduling is ludicrous.

What was it based on? The front office has said nothing about Pagano. There has been no press release, no official statement, no tweet/message/anything from Irsay or another member of the front office.
Like I said, if Schefter is falsely reporting this and especially confirming this as fact, he would be in big trouble. He doesn't make millions of dollars, he would be jeopardizing a job as ESPN's top NFL insider reporter, a job many many people would leap at the chance to take.
Why is it so many think there has to be a press release to retain Pagano ? Because some fans are crying ? Where else do they have one saying we are retaining the coach ? Just saying

Wasn't he a Big10 referee?
Yes lol and I might add one of the better ones that I've ever seen. Unlike Ted I'm the Show Valentine

Frank Gore is class . Over 1000 yds would've been much more if we were not constantly digging out of the holes we dug. Not a thing to apologize for and would love to keep you here. Your work ethic is similar to that of Walter Peyton , and it shows on the field in your durability at your age. Much more durable than most of the young guns.

You cant build when you take people in FA that are older and injury prone

I would love to see Grigson removed and Peyton M installed

When you have your SuperStar unhappy it is not a good thing at all. McMillan should be on thin ice already, sad to say after 33 games but he seems to be part of the problem. When I watch the Pacers play I see too much lazy play on Defense so I wonder if the team even wants to play hard for McMillan?
Not disagreeing at all but when you get paid that money to do a job you go out and do it regaurdless of if your happy or not to the best of your ability its called being a professional.

I'd freak if we got Jim but I just don't see it happening. I'll still hope it somehow happens tho!! He's my favorite followed by McDaniels
I'm with you , however he does have Colts ties and he took a royal shaft job at Ohio State . The College game and politics of it may be wearing thin.

I think it's pretty clear that Haeg has already beaten out Good for any spot on the line.
If Clark is ready to start next year then Haeg should easily have the RG spot locked down.
That said, if you see an injury to Clark then they would probably shift Haeg over to RT and Good may play RG in his stead.
That's actually the great thing about Haeg, we seem to be able to shift him on the line, even mid game and it doesn't phase him.
Agreed he is versatile , but is much better as an interior lineman when he is the running game is much better. Haeg was a find and if they want more look no farther than N Dakota St in the 4th or 5th round they always have a great OL year in year out.

I did not think they even ran enough last night. Maybe it was the Sixers out hustling them.....sick of it.
Agree its going to take effort , time for someone to be a leader instead of whiner.

Knew from the get go they would need to learn how to play together on both sides of the game

Pacers defense worries me a bit. Luckily they have 80+ games to work on it.
11 hours ago, 2006Coltsbestever said:Surprising loss but winning on the road is never easy. I thought our Defense was lethargic at times is why we lost.
They will learn to play together and the D did get lazy and so did Offense at times

People need to remember this team is still learning to play together , and we were playing a very experienced team.

Tevin Coleman may be the best running back they have , and Freeman is really good, Coleman can beat you inside the Tackles , to the outside and catching posseses break away speed. There young recievers look great
