  1. I understand from a mutual friend that you recently stood up for me when someone else was being less than kind.   For that, I say Thank You.   You're a good person.

  2. Do you all have any plans for Valentine's? Nothing fancy here. Just hanging out with family. Just an "ordinary" day for a single gal!

I keep adding clips because when the mood hits me I can't help but "Linger" in a particular band's mindset.

I stumbled upon a You Tube person known as Inbar. Here's what I wrote today in the comment section of her channel:

A very majestic & soothing cover. Almost lullabyish in fact. That's a complement by the way not a criticism. Incredible job. The cello/bass violin gives this number a hypnotic, trance like quality. It's a travesty that this video doesn't have over a million views in my estimation. Simply a stunning rendition.

This cover is so naked meaning not flashy or overproduced. It's just slow & very tight meaning exceptionally well done. Don't believe me?

      See? I told ya.

Yeah, I 'm in a Cranberries zone right now. Checkout this cover of "Dreams" by a woman named Madison Malone.

Proof that we rockers can embrace a softer side of our personalities once in awhile. It's very powerful. A good number for when a father hands off his baby girl at her wedding etc. etc.

I came across this Cranberries acoustic version of "Ode To Family" last night. Delores was a remarkable talent.

What makes this number memorable other than her distinctive voice are the tambourine & salt & pepper shaker sound.

  8. We interrupt albeit briefly over on the Disco to remember the Day the Music Died 59 years ago. And remember Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and JP "The Big Bopper" Richardson. Plus the forgotten victim, pilot Roger Peterson

  21. 100GFB will soon be leaving the forum.  It’s been great but it’s time to leave the building.  It’s nothing on anyone just time to start a new chapter or even a new book!  Yikes I hate to read!  This forum has been great as I can’t go to the bar down the street and talk Colts football.  I don’t live in Indiana nor any of the neighboring states so this provided me with news - good or bad it was news on my team.  I enjoyed reading the friendly and sometimes outrageous banter but it was Colts news.  I’ll always be a Colts/Indiana fan.  As a Colts fan let’s just say my fan base goes back to The Horse, Johnny U, Big Daddy and Mutz.  My favorite toy as a youngster was an Indy 500 replica.  Lol!  It was metal and heavy.  SW1/Ruston you could say it was heavy metal.  I may be back but it’s time to leave the building.
