Glad to see your forum return subvet. Hope you're doing alright. Yes, sometimes life forces us to re-arrange our plans. No doubt about it. Hang in there.

I'm telling ya man. If you would have been at LOS on Sunday, the Raiders would not have won alawai.

Not scientific proof of anything concrete I know, but I like that theory & I'm sticking to it.

You must be INDY's good :clover: charm because whenever you attend a game live the Colts win buddy.

I think Jim Irsay should fly in for every home game at a bare minimum. Works 4 me.

The Cars actually made keyboards sound cool & an integral component on records as well as on stage. Not just for Pop stars anymore folks.

      Case in point...

Good stuff that still holds up today.

Who knew all those piano lessons your momma forced you to take would actually pay off later in life? Imagine that. LOL!

I like it when bands pick easy to remember names. You know, they don't overthink it. Good guitar riffs, solid percussion playing, & choruses that easily get branded into your brain.

Probably my favorite Cash cover ever done live...Travis knows how to deliver when the situation mandates it.

I get chills every time I just sit & listen to it...

This family has good musical bones baby. His daughter Roseanne is immensely talented too.

I really enjoyed the TV show "Austin City Limits" even as a little munchkin. Landmark performances on stage no doubt.

My mother always said that Johnny died of a broken heart. When his wife June passed on, Cash's time on this planet would inevitably be short-lived in order to be reunited with the love of his life.

That's why I included this original number...People strive for the bond those 2 had.

I loved the renegade side of the "Man In Black." His darker side make him 1 of a kind.

Cash just speaks with such authority, simplicity, & knowledge of pain that it makes him infectious & true. His legacy will never ever fade, evaporate, or die.

I do like that about the genre of Rock N Roll. A lot of average looking frontman to be kind cranking out hits to help the rest of us get our groove on because no one else with confuse us with the handsome devil crowd either. :D

I just heard he died recently & was shocked when it hit me & finally took hold. Eddie had a very impressive catalog of signature songs.

I still remember like yesterday back in like 1987 or 88, I put on a CD of his greatest hits on my sister's stereo & when this song came on, she ran out & said, "I love this song, but I had no idea who sang it. Thanks. Now, I know."

And that song was...Drum roll please...

Speeding ticket here I come. haha

Even though INDY didn't win or short circuit the Chargers, we did surprise the rest of the league by getting to Overtime though. So, that's something right? I'll take it.

  15. THANK YOU ANDREW LUCK FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR OUR INDIANAPOLIS COLTS !!

MAY GOD BLESS YOU & YOURS AS YOU TAKE YOUR FIRST STEPS IN TO THE NEXT CHAPTER OF YOUR LIVES !!

Yeah, I know a lot of fans are angry & disappointed with Andrew Luck's decision & when he chose to disclose that decision publicly.

However, I agree with you 100% sb41...I hope he has continued success with whatever career decision he decides to pursue next as a private citizen now.

I don't hate the man. I still want happiness & good fortune to come his way. He betrayed no one IMO.

  16. Time fly fast, I haven’t been here for six years. Where the hell have I been. Lol. Very looking forward to the new season. GO COLTS.

Tennessee pulverized the Browns last week & definitely can't be taken lightly. That's for sure.

Their D is legit, but so is ours too. Looking forward to going toe to toe with them this weekend anyway.

So, you're not fond of the Steelers eh? Is it those God awful throwback bumble bee uniforms? They are not my cup of tea either. Hope all is well Gramz. :D

The Colts have a young, talented team under great leadership. You should all be optimistic and excited for this year and the upcoming years. It will be a lot of fun. Go Colts!

@NFLfan, Wow! You're Vikings were lethal against the Falcons in Week 1. Talk about taking the dirty birds to the woodshed & clipping their wings. Amazing!

Gary Kubiack was a tremendous new hire by Mike Zimmer too. Overjoyed for your club my friend.

Thanks for the kind words regarding the Colts as well. You Rock!!!

Yes, I was absent from the forum for awhile brother. My mother had a serious health situation to deal with, but fortunately she's on the mend/getting better.

Nice to hear you earned a longer vacation this yr. I'm sure you & your wife work very hard & that your bosses are very satisfied with your diligence & dedication week in; week out. I want nothing but the best for you buddy.

Absolutely HCF, we stand by our team our squad no matter what. Chris Ballard has had some challenging situations to deal with hasn't he? Josh McDaniels saying no to our club & our franchise QB departing unexpectedly.

I'm trying to improve my response time replying back to my friends. That includes emails too. Let's just say I'm a work in progress. LOL! I never want anyone to believe they don't matter because they most certainly do.

At any rate, always good chatting with you NCF.  Take Care.

  23. Indy 500!  As a little kid I’d get up at 0 dark thirty to listen to the Indy 500.  Yes listen on my transitor radio with the black leather casing. No live TV but tape delay.  With a little luck got stationed at Ft. Knox and made it to the 500!  Good times!

Cool trip down memory lane there. There's no other medium like radio; the 1 on 1 intimacy of it between broadcaster & listener. Okay, maybe modern day podcasts fit into that category as well I suppose.

It's the closest thing the world has to Fireside chats man. Nice. Thanks for sharing alawai. :hat:

  24. Congratulations to our US Ladies Soccer Team. Another World Cup. :fireworks::cheer2:

Yep, that was quite an accomplishment indeed.

Now, I wanna see women break the glass ceiling as CEO's in business as well as the American Presidency--It's long overdue. I'm getting sick & tired of sexism let me tell ya.

Well done ladies; Well done. Bravo!

  25. Hey, how are you heart and music friend? I'm good just seeing how you doing?

LOL so I don't have to type all over again how I'm doing you can read my post.

Hope your music world is great. Rock on!!

Sorry to intrude on a conversation that never directly involved me, but I have a soft spot for musicians & those who sing for their supper even if it's just for fun or just some extra dough in your pocket Gramz & Cs4.

That takes some much courage to do that. Overcome stage fright & put yourself out there. It's brave to be vulnerable; it truly is & I admire that so much. Covers or original material it doesn't really matter.

Entertainers never get enough credit in this world if you ask me. Making folks smile, dance, & forget about there troubles for a little while is just spectacular in my book.

Kudos to you 2 & all the musicians & singers in this world amateur & pro. It's never as easy as it looks. There's definitely an art to it.
