I know he could be stubborn and had his flaws, but it's hard to argue that he wasn't the best talent evaluator and general manager/club president the Colts had ever seen, at least until he started to turn things over to his son Chris towards the end. He didn't like to spend money on free agents and believed in building through the draft. Ten years of excellence and 2 Super Bowls is not easy.

 

I'd say Grigson could learn a few things from him, especially when it comes to trading away draft picks. Building through free agency is fine in moderation, but it will eventually lead to cap problems.

Polian liked to pay his guys and at the end we had cap problems his son really ruined him at the end he was clueless . I liked that he built through the draft I don't like to much free agent pickups . I like that Grigson is aggressive but I think he need' s to go more though the draft this is where he could learn from Polian  In the end I think Manning covered up a lot of Polian mistakes and some bad picks

I wonder if any one no's how many games all our free agents we signed have played up to this point there I am guessing not even half. With not having much talent last year and Grigson  signing many free agents at this point its been a disaster

As long as Pagano is the head coach those guys are gonna start, he's too loyal to his players and too nice of a coach. Instead of getting on them when they make mistakes he pats them on the back like they just scored a touchdown.

He is being outcoached and has no clue this is one mistake Irsay needs to fix I have been a Colt fan since 1969 and have a hard time watching them they play lazy and lost

Is our OC trying to prove a point?  We always talk about being a power running team and blah blah blah, lets be honest we are not a power running team and I am not sure why Pep wouldn't give DB the start based on play.  I understand it really doesn't matter who starts the carries will be distributed based on the game but hey give DB his due he has earned a start. 

 

I am worried about the mentality that keeps coming out with regards to what we are, I know we are a good team and have won some tough games but the whole mentality that we will be a running team no matter what is disturbing.

GO COLTS Brown will get his share of carries I never liked Richardson when he was on the Browns and when he made that comment he thinks he is playing well that should explain why the Browns traded him.

This team only plays 30 mins of football for the past few weeks. Eventually it's gonna come falling down if we don't get our act together

We've been lucky these past few weeks. Kubiak going down won the Texans game for us. And the Titans just being bad is what won us the game

If we don't get our act together soon, it'll be alot more games like the Rams game coming soon

He's blind apparently, its not all his fault I know, but he has to take some of the blame. I haven't seen a less explosive back in the NFL, just looks slow at the line of scrimmage. Please prove me wrong, but Im disappointed so far.

Always thought Brown was never used right in Polian era I no he was injured often but it always seemed if he had a good game he would disappear. Colts should keep him our situation next year at RB is unclear and I  am tired of the Richardson excuses it was a bad trade and Ballard needs time to heal
