    Starting to reread Frank Herbert "Dune" series. Need to know how to survive as Indiana turns into a desert/

      lol. The more we joke about this the more I wonder how they managed to make an action movie about it. Shouldn't have been a good look. Sort of like "The Charge of the Light Brigade - in diapers".

      I hated the movie version of Dune by the way. Too dark and unpleasant, too far from the book. Didn't like a single character. Not surprising - I think that I've hated everything that David Lynch has ever directed.

      Love the books/ Didn't care for the movie either, they tried to cram too much info into a short time. I don't see how anyone that hadn't read the book beforehand would have realized what was going on in the movie/ Have read the book series a couple of times, may reread again in near future
