  1. It was a fun year, watching it now would make me sad though lol.
  2. Its just a boring off season for the team where FA gave us almost nothing to talk about. The only thing to talk about is fighting over if we should have done more or not.
  3. Patriots got lucky 24 years ago, its not a blue print to follow. Eason was always going to be a backup. You could get lucky and get a good starter out of someone like Brady or Purdy, but you might also keep looking for decades.
  4. We would have to hypothetically project what AR would have done in college last year to answer this
  5. He wont last if Richardson doesn't work out. The team needs to make the playoffs sometime soon too. They were close last year but a lot of teams say that every year. The last spot is always a close race now
  6. If I were Diggs I would choose the texans or stay with the bills over us tbh. He will be a good fit with Stroud
  7. Corners are meant to play deep in cover 3. Its too easy to run a good WR to a zone covered by a no name cb against us
  8. We are good at SS now, Blackmon is a veteran starter in that role and I think Cross can play it well too. Nick is still just 22 and is trending up. I can live with having Jags at FS but we still need CBs. I dont care what scheme you run you cant be as weak at corner as we are, teams will exploit the matchups
  9. This is a good breakdown to explain their philosophy. It can work I guess but seems to have matchup problems against teams that have good QBs and WRs. I think the Bengals game last year is good example of a team strong at WR exploiting this. They line good WRs up against weak corners and we are in for a long day.
  10. Its probably the line. I see the corners we could get as day one starters though and the DEs we could get are at risk of never being better than Paye and company. We should be looking at WRs too. Im not sure how far down the list they will want to go if 3-4 have been picked already.
  11. The risk is that they are never much better than Kwitty Paye or the rest of the roster. We all want a good pass rusher but we could get a day one starter thats less risky somewhere else. I know positional value is a thing and to me CB and WR should be high on the list. I can see putting DE over them but taking a risk on potential vs drafting a starter should be considered too.
  12. Most of the league plays zones most of the time now according to pff. I cant link it now but i think it was from 2022, they had all but 3 teams in zones more often than not. 1 team was about even(patriots) and there were two who only slightly favored man. Corners are still getting drafted high and in the first round
  13. Oh i agree that could happen. Superman may have had a point about the team not valuing corners and wrs that high so DE gets pushed up. I dont like that though lol, not this year for this team
  14. I guess Im not that excited about the class for one thing, maybe Im missing something. What I see is rookie DEs fighting for playing time if they got here, I dont see big upgrades over what we have. I do see big upgrades elsewhere that would start, probably day 1
  15. I just cant understand taking D line over a CB this year. WR or Bowers would make sense to me If the team doesnt value corners this way then maybe they should start. I dont like to pigeon hole what we draft this hard but our secondary is a bunch of nobodies and our Dline is ok, better than ok actually. We dont even have many snaps for a rookie unless they are a really good edge right out of the gate. A rookie DT from this class isnt beating Buckner or Stewart.
  16. I think people dont want it more than they under estimate the possibility. The team will consider it for sure I think we have invested a lot already and our Dline overall isnt bad. Our Cbs are bad, our passing game hasnt scared anyone in a while. BPA among the CBs, WRs and DEs available looks like a close call
  17. I dont even know what that is. Franklin will probably go off on social media and let us know though!
  18. He is a strong safety, I believe they played him at CB and FS due to need. Somewhere I read that Ballard said he practices mostly at SS and a little nickel, and is only an emergency backup at FS and CB
  19. Cross is good at finding the ball and making tackles, he occasionally makes plays in the secondary too. He has the tools to be a good SS. He was drafted very young and I think hes trending up
  20. Personally I'm not crazy about going DE at 15 this year. I don't like the class that much and our Dline is better than our Corners and probably WRs. I know the team wont operate this way but I would go best available of those 2 positions with Bowers being treated like a WR for this discussion. I say this with some confidence because there will be a good corner there, maybe the first choice
  21. A lot of people do feel that way bud. You keep quoting me because you dont but others really do.
