  1. That’s the one thing I was shocked about this season: Richardson took better care of the ball than Minshew does. I had assumed it would be the other way around
  2. The real worst part about this situation is that I can guarantee we’ll get another pointless, whiny, impotent political article from Gregg Doyel, the worst “sports writer” on the face of the earth.
  3. I was being a bit hyperbolic, I know there aren’t that many billionaires. My point is that everyone in Carmel is very wealthy, it’s not like he was in some podunk town where the cops are gunning for a big fish.
  4. I could believe his “rich white billionaire” thing if it was in any city other than Carmel. That’s literally the rich white billionaire capital of the Midwest.
  5. If you had told me a few years ago that we would end up letting Walker, Okereke, and Leonard all go, and still have a great LB corps, I would’ve called you a liar
  6. He’s drafted linebackers and running back incredibly well. That’s why I think we would’ve been fine as a team even if we lost both JT and Shaq
  7. They’re probably telling Irsay to do it himself with how cold it is outside lol
  8. He 100% was at some point. Don’t know if it’s still up there. Luck’s was up there too when he retired, which was awkward lol
  9. How unlucky are we that we lose Richardson and then Burrow? Both our quarterbacks, done. I hate it too. This year has sucked with QB injuries. Rodgers, Cousins, Burrow, Richardson, Daniel Jones…all done for the year. I don’t shed any tears for the Browns QB though
  10. I would say they are both elite WR2. Maybe the two best WR2 in the league. But as a die hard Colts and Bengals fan who has seen years of both of them, neither are true star WR1 like Chase or Jefferson.
  11. That was Boyd Higgins was out against the Texans
  12. I’m a Bengals fan too, I know he’ll be gone. I’ll miss him a ton, but we need the cash for Joe and Chase. Speaking of, I remember now that you’re the other Bengals fan here, how are you feeling about the team?
  13. Under Reich this team was Charmin soft, it didn’t have any teeth to it. Steichen has brought accountability and he, Ballard, and Irsay are enforcing it. I’m sure that change isn’t welcomed by all. Then you also have guys with reasonable disputes over things like money, like JT. It’s sports though, there’s always drama between players and their teams.
  14. No way the Colts get Tee, the Bengals will fight hard to keep him and when that doesn’t work there will be a massive bidding war for him
  15. He’s not even been horrifically bad, he’s just been…kinda there. And as I say that, he throws a pick six. Dude sucks I guess lol
  16. Unfortunately for Frank, I’m not sure there’s much for him to groom. Pretty much every downside mentioned about Young before he was drafted has shown it’s face.
  17. A mediocre running back against the Colts is always a good play
  18. Despite the penalty he just had, I wanted to say that one of the best things Ballard ever did was bring in DeFo. That man should be in our RoH someday, he’s almost single-handedly kept this defense at least respectable the past few years. Just an awesome player.
  19. Good question To be fair, half of them are injured. And that includes most of the good ones
  20. The Panthers are a desperate franchise with no patience. Hiring Frank and trading the farm for a risky #1 in Young was the quick and easy route to trying to turn around the franchise, rather than completely rebuilding the team from the ground up like the Lions or Bengals or Jags.
  21. Frank seems like a genuinely great person. I know he’s a pastor, and if he ever gets tired of football, I’ll wager he’d be great at that. He seems very kind and considerate and inspiring. Unfortunately, you need waaaay more than high character to be a successful NFL coach
  22. JT is still very good. He navigated that mass of people excellently.
