  1. I agree. Not only is it important to be first but those stories that generate the most clicks make the most money. In this day and age you have to be very sensationalist, be first and generate the most clicks. Truth be damned
  2. My apologies. I was simply venting.
  3. Uncoachable ? He was coached by a very tough disciplinarian coach in Kirby Smart, the head coach at UGA for 2 years. Anyone that knows Coach Smart knows he's a no nonsense guy that doesn't put up with any nonsense. Look if Colts fans want to believe this nonsense thats fine. There is nothing I can do to talk you all out of it. But his record at UGA and on the field speaks for itself. He wasn't "uncoachable" at all. Kirby loved him, the coaches loved him, the players loved him and most importantly the fans loved him. But lets go ahead and believe an "anonymous scout"
  4. Here is AD's combine workout video. True, he fell down on the Gauntlet drill but got right back up and seemed to be a good sport about it. He ran the gauntlet again and completed it so not sure what the big deal is ? Maybe writers are making it a bigger deal than it needs to be ? But judge for yourself. I saw no bad attitude there. Also very cool comparison in the video of AD running the 40 superimposed against AJ Brown and Julio Jones. He smokes both of them. That should get Colts fans really excited.
  5. Happy Father's day to AD and all the other dad's out there !!
  6. Colts are blessed to have such a great owner !
  7. If he has pain and soreness then he needs to shut it down for at least a month and stop throwing. In fact he should wear a sling for at least a month. Pain and soreness is an indication that he's putting too much pressure on his surgically repaired AC joint that was just sewn back together since it was torn. This is why God gave us pain. The pain is a warning and AR needs to listen to his body and ignore what the fans and the Colts want. There is no substitute for rest and AR should not "work through" the pain. He should shut it down completely
  8. I think the Nelson situation will work itself out. I took a look at his contract on spotrac. He'll be here through 2024, but there is an out before 2025 of a 12M cap hit if released before 2025. There is a 6m cap hit if released before 2026, so this is the more likely out. As previous posters have said, let's observe him in 2024 and see if he continues his solid level of play. It's in Nelson's hands now how much longer he's a Colt. Keep in mind that in 2025 he'll have been playing guard for 8 years which is a long time so it may be time to draft his replacement next April. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/25101/quenton-nelson#:~:text=2022-2026 Extension, average annual salary of %2420%2C000%2C000.
  9. Look I'll go one further. Not only is he NOT a spoiled brat, but had he stayed at Georgia one more year, he could have easily gone in the top 8. He could have gone as high as Odunze or Nabers. He transferred out of Georgia to be closer to his infant daughter who lived in Texas. That hurt his draft stock in that he played for the inaccurate Texas QB Quinn Ewers. But this is what grown men do, they take responsibility for their children. He could have been an absent Dad and stayed in Georgia but did the right thing by being a responsible father. That is anything but a spoiled brat
  10. It's OK. I think it's been so long since Colts fans have had an elite WR, I think they have forgotten what one looks and acts like.
  11. This is what I read too from a different source. He injured his back throwing a pass. I wonder if he is working out too hard ?
  12. Hope he gets well soon. That is a brutal injury to come back from
